Exactly. That show was for all comers.
TBH a car show for "cheap everyday classics" wouldn't really be viable. Costs to put these things on and in reality who is going to pay to come see what their dad drove?
Hopefully next year more will turn up.
I for one love seeing all the American Muscle.
Still, you drive around on a sunday in Nelson and you see a heap of cars that were not there and should have been.
Yeah saw you in the driveway.
We really should sort ourselves out and have a meet.
After I have figured out why the Chevette has start stuttering. I think it's getting vapour lock. Probably having a sulk as the Imp is now in the shed and it has to live in the car port!
Only one I have seen! I spotted your Silvia. You are mad
Yes it was her mothers apparently. If you want an Imp project there is a shell in Chch for 300..... Is primed and ready for paint. Mechanicals will not be hard to find.
Ah you're the one with all the roof racks?
I was impressed with the show. Was much bigger than last year. And there was an Imp!!!
Next year I'll do my best to have 2 cars in it
Oh, easy to check the exhaust, will be leaving carbon deposits.
And to check if its intake, while it's running spray some crc/brakekleen etc around the manifold. revs will increase if it's sucking in there
Possibly if it's the intake. But if it is the intake I wouldn't think the noise would be as described.
Yank that cover off and have a look. Is easy. Bonus you will get your hands dirty and get to use tools.
