sweet so a 20 spline T50 with t series bell housing is what i need to be looking for.... the 22 spline ones are the ones that fit into 4ages aye? wonder how hard 20 splines are to find

Fuel: i didnt realise they stamped the gearbox code on firewall but will check that out first - the thing is the motor is not the original one it came from the factory with, its another one. im guessing its the same kind of motor tho so hopefully gearbox is the same.... what i really want to know tho is what gearbox can bolt up to the 3t. any ideas?

Just wondering what gearbox is used in '81 Coronas with a 3t motor??? The one i have is a 4 speed so am looking at getting a 5 speed. Does anyone know what box it would be and what bolts up to it? Doing a search on trade me last night for "3t gearbox" the only one i found was a $500 supra box but it didnt say what it was (w50, k50, t50 etc etc) Any ideas??? p.s If this post gets deleted again can the mod that deletes it please pm me and tell me why youve deleted it. i hvae done a search and have found nothing so why delete it?

oh... no idea who the guy is... just a random that came to pick up another motor my mate had stored at home... he was all knowledgeable and was telling me lots of things... just thort id check it out... the x member I've got at the moment is rooted tho... don't really wanna re use it.... the t50 has a x member on it tho... could just use that one?

Hey... i was told on the weekend that i can use a RWD celica gearbox x member to put a t50 into ke3X.... anyone know if this is true or not and anyone tried it??? the guy reckons it would bolt straight up with no modding needed...? let me know what you guys know... cheers.

have discussed with chris to meat ham peoples at the huge warehouse (the red kind where everyone gets a bargain) on the right as you come into hamilton there is heaps of parking away from the shops so will be enough room... theres heaps of road works going on just after that roundabout... so meat there and we can take a shortcut to miss all the road works etc and head south. Just let me know when your leaving the BP and can meat you all there.
