pies
ok... is there any way to adjust camber on a solid rear end? was looking at the cressida the other day and IM SURE the drivers side is holding more negative camber than the passengers
mikuni
Nope. Wheels bolt straight onto the axels, which run straight through the diff housing into the head. I don't think theres any chance of camber there.

mikuni
Yeah I've been confused by it afew times before. It only takes a very slightly uneven surface and the diff will sit uneven, obviously making it look like one side has positive camber, they other negative. Looks real cool if you jack the fuk out of it too Mega camber boe!!
thegreatestben
make some spacers with an angled face
thminiman
that would be fucken dumb, would be like having a bent wheel it would constantly go from positive to negative camber as the wheel went round

Sadly with the level of retardation about, it was a good call to make sure on his part. Still, I say if anyone was stupid enough to try it, they'd deserve the fucked car they'd have on their hands. Ogre
can add camber to solid diffs. ex gfs oldman had an insane racing rx7 s1.He added like a degree or somthing (maybe less) to the rear by "bending" the axle.It seemed to work, but i guess there is a limited amount you could do and its probably not much. CaMpylobacter
it'd load up the side gears in the diff and fuck out in a matter of kilometres
Ogre
has been 3 seasons now and no trouble
Hemi
...i find that soo hard to belive im looking at it from a mech point of view and either the diff is so fucked the clearnaces are huge or he's been changing diffs behind your back
mikuni
yeah, not to mention the angle the splines of the axels are coming in on. They seem to give enough trouble even standard. I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted a couple of seasons though in good condition. 1 degree is extremely minimal isn't it?
Hemi
aight go just in a piston in a bore 1 mil too big for the bore then , or a thrust spacer 1 mil too small in a g-box
