I did one in the Mid 80's... It ended up with a 1200 engine out of a Mazda rally car, so it went like all hell but the low gearing meant that it ran out of fizz up the top end pretty early..

Wasnt easy to get alloys to fit a Bongo then, probably still isnt!

I couldnt dump it at the time because the roads I was going on were shit..

The paint was done in my garage at home! From memory this pic was taken about an hour or so after I finished it, before it was rubbed out and cut.

Its looking so cool at that height. Need more style though, either flappas or wide steels or roof racks or all those or something different. I dunno.

And I was driving to misssusus tonight and I saw a daewoo matiz from far away. Fuck I can find a square on pic but from the front angle the look like there were inspired by this styling. So crack up.

Yea i wont have it much higher if any.

Got a sweet daily now, pending on delivery.

Its an english assembled mk1 cortina estate, original as but with 1600 x-flow, last owner since 85, sunburnt paint and old signwriting, win.

Also got a few eagers for it, going onto my 8 inch steelies.

wicked...what engine have you got in there?is that a 13b?

you should get my 10a and put the pp housings in it..

10aPP FTW..

the van is sick..repaint it a stock colour.

i love how the roof line is the same as the beetle in the shed.. :badgrin:
