As the title says, I'm on the lookout for a new exzorst system, I'm getting a cheap coby for my middle muffler along with new piping but havent decided on what I should have hanging out the end, post a pic of your muffler, I need some inspiration. What do you think would look good on a mk2 escort in ford sweet cream?

Oh yea, prices too

A couple of stainless tips dumping out behind the rear wheels? Better yet, a Lakeside pipe.

OK, so they wouldn't look tremendously good... but it would be funny, and I could have a bit of a laugh.

Get a 2½" Oval straight through muffler and get the exhaust place to weld a section of 2½" mandrel bent pipe on so it slightly points downward, like a dumpy but not as shiny, large and ghey cannon looking.

Thats kinda what I was thinking, I dont want it to spoil the period styling of the scrot, so something subtle like that might be the go.

Cheers for the pic jerm, I like the black ones

Go for one of those dumpy mufflers, or else a 2.5-3" tip, but no bigger than 3" on an eskie I reckon.

I have a 2.5" pipe straight through from the extractors with one semi baffeled sports muffler halfway through, goes well and sounds wickard!!

btw Im loving your skyline kyteler *drools* looks so sexy in that pic

From that angle you can unfortunately see where the tip connects to the muffler, but when standing, it looks pretty damn good. The droop of the tip follows the same angle as the rear quarter, so it fits really nicely with the style of the car

EDIT: Oh yeah the tip there is a 2.5"
