atropine Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 you should learn something bout this forum then.. i may be wrong but im pretty sure the majority of posters here are under 20, or just on the verge, and the majority of people here are more inclined to modding and making their cars different. im 18, and a big fan of both when done right. pure original cars have an uncomparible value and can be absolutely stunning. im all for modifying also.. considering my mk2 escort is just off completion and running a injected 2litre twincam zetec, wilwood 4pt front brakes, bilstein front shocks (will get to the back later..), 5spd sierra etc.. the interior is near mint at the moment and the seats will be completely redone later in the year. spitfire mags, chromed 1/4 bumpers (a rare sight on a mk2) etc etc.. its about doing it right though.. i think youll find that most (and im saying this a lot) will find that exhaust to be pure rice. my brother has an identical one.. but it actually suits his evo4.. not saying its good, but it suits it. that thing just looks ridiculous on an escort (especially since it just hangs off the bottom, unlike an evo) and quite frankly id ignore the last 3years of escort love and laugh my ass off if i saw that on the street.. then i would cry to the rally gods and pray that it falls off down the road.. rabble rabble rabble Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Toucan Posted May 4, 2005 Author Share Posted May 4, 2005 Nah mate, just a different oppinion thats all Small update, scrot is in the workshop, i ripped the old exhaust out (bar the end muffler that had broken off anyway lol), beat out the firewall a small amout where the extractors were hitting it, made a flange at the bottom of the extractors, and thats about it Having another go tomorrow night but only have an hour, so will most likely finish it on friday... just in time for some laps mean.
