  1. http://www.groundeffect.co.nz/collections/lycra-shorts/products/exocets-nylon-lycra-premium-bike-shorts?variant=1640998915 Early birthday present - baggies will still work for when I'm in mixed company...
  2. Sounds reasonable, I'll wear my lycra shorts all week until they fall off...
  3. Assuming you're a Hutt resident or this vehicle has a doppelganger - looks very cool! Spotted it at Westfield Sunday morning.
  4. I know a recently complied Datsun 1600 Roadster will be there. If you see it Gary and Karina (the owners) will be keen for a yarn.
  5. The similar vintage XL175s have an issue with the kick starter - to the extent I don't think that there's any NOS available anywhere. They don't have the option of electric start though. Push start only - which is where my CL50 currently is - at least that only weights 69kg dry...
  6. I'm around tonight/tomorrow night if you need someone to hold a torch/make usefulless observations...
  7. It could be, these two are the dream... To go with my 1961 Lincoln Continental
  8. Alright - I need to find a 50s/60s looking unit to do the same for our place...
  9. My students will be racing at the same event in November - unfortunately not in the same class! But they're only Year 11, 2 more years to get to this standard. We saw images at the most recent boot camp unless there's another KE70 being built up...

  11. I pretty much can't leave before 3:10pm because I'm a professional, or something - depending on how the Super Snipe is going it would be sweet if you could bring my MTB down (I'd drop it out to Reco or wherever) It'd also be most awesome if someone wanted to bring the Shuttle up from Ashburton. Otherwise it looks like I'll have to fly down to Chch, hitch to Ashburton, then drive back to Hanmer for the Friday night festivities...
  12. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/honda/auction-920185463.htm You could have twins - this one is nowhere near as pretty as yours though!
  13. Top effort, I've recently graduated from Triang trikes to 12 and 16" BMX's, resisting the temptation to bunny hop is hard!
  14. Is that so you can still ride it...?
  15. Pretty photos as per usual - have you got any idea of what you want your engine bay to look like? You have an amazing eye for what looks 'right', so it'd be cool to see what you've come up with.
  16. Sweet proportions! Any more details on how the shock fits the frame? Or are you still at the mock up stage? I had a 17" front wheel on my DR250S that was just a rear rim, on front hub with cut down spokes. Are you planning to make it road legal or a bucket racer/toy?
  17. One of only 3 ish 250s that isn't... This is the suzuki equivalent from the same era http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/motorbikes/motorbikes/sports/auction-875235764.htm
  18. A Chevette?! Wowee, my lucky day, I might try and steal a ride with someone, actually if Duncan's driving I'd happily roll with him...
  19. Hannah's (my one!) Poppa had one new, had an engine rebuild and rust holes in front guards within 12 months (assuming it's a Crusader?).
  20. Looks like?! It was! You should see the brazing tables he built at work. Can you get scale models of the Hino cab/chassis? Would love to have a go at 3D printing the house with working slide outs... Also - I'd love to swap that Honda MT125 for TIGing services (4 carrier mounts on an alloy frame...)
  21. Pretty mayhem day for me tomorrow but flick it through and will do it if I get a spare minute will.taylor.nz at gmail.com
