Did you get up Mt Patriarch when you were in Marlborough?

I was impressed someone managed to organise access into Kingsland/Silvan as it's pretty strictly no motorised public access in the 10 years I've lived next to Easby Park. The roar as the whole group wound up the hill was sweet!

One upgrade from basic yours will have will be the digital readout for the speedo? Basic spec analogue speedo felt tricky to keep to 50km/h without cruise control.

Wasn't really a small bike promo - more an illustration of how speed differences with bikes don't matter too much at the end of the day. People are always pretty good at getting you forgotten off the guest list if your company isn't worth the wait...

Depends on who you're riding with. The biggest issue is that you have a super capable bike. I rode on bikes as little as Suzuki RMX 50s with KTM 640s when I was younger. I think in Nelson anyway people were just stoked to be out for the day. Provided you don't fuck around being picky about what to have for lunch, it doesn't really matter. Finally, you take sweet photos, even if you were making the group take 40% longer at each stage. If there's a pretty record of the day out I'd be surprised if there's any shade being thrown your way.

I wanted a wireless reversing camera/rear vision mirror for the caravan. This came up well priced at Supercheap Auto, with good reviews on Amazon for the same thing. The L298Ns are an H bridge controller so they switch the polarity for you. No idea about any of the other questions as I've not used them!

I don't know, I'd probably have to ride them back to back to feel the difference. The ground clearance is the biggest obvious difference. I can only just flat foot it with both feet and I'm fairly lanky so it must make make quite the change.

The fizz for RHD stuff in the US is impressive. This was at an auction in Florida earlier in the year. Apparently a 1.0L, must have been a 10A, didn't check the door cards...

Definitely ER indicators. Local Suzuki dealer had them for $10/pair for years after keeping them from all the farm bikes. I guess supplies must be drying up by now.
