  1. I had a look at this just now, who put you onto them? I cant see a cost easily either, so what are they worth? Is there any reason why you wouldn't just go with link? (Maybe cost is the reason) They probably work fine but it seems a bit of an unknown to me.
  2. Holley 4 barrels are cheap and easy, but efficient they are not. It will drink more than a fish, and without mods they dont deal with offroading.
  3. Lol Dolan, everything you said was stuck in the stone age. The whole idea is to get rid of as much Lucas as possible. Carbs suck, it doesn't matter what type they are, they are just inferior. Having your fuel decided by a hole in some metal sure sounds like an accurate way to do it to me... if you care about looks a factory looking air cleaner will disguise a tbi throttle and make it look sweet. Buying a dizzy of another sort is just as dumb, why have a mechanical part which wears out when you can have the total reliability of wasted spark for the same cost? Step up your game Dolan, you are becoming a Barry hahaha.
  4. Man, if you actually go ahead with the rv8 you have to put efi on it; the Lucas dizzy with SU carbs pretty much guarantee it'll never run properly. Do yourself a favour from the start. Something as simple as a microsquirt, 36-1 toothed wheel with a hall effect sensor, and a gm tbi throttle body would do you nicely. You would probably save the money in fuel savings along let alone as call outs haha
  5. I used one as well, a++ would trade again. I marveled at how they could make it for $20, incredible!
  6. Personally I would go unboosted brakes like that white one I posted the pic of, fuck with the pedal box, and get the pedal ratios and mc sizes right, add a balance bar and profit. But I can see that for sprak, getting a smaller booster is the best option hahaha
  7. I would second that being a dumb idea.
  8. Triggering is definitely the hardest part, an I think most of it is caused by vr sensors, even your link didn't work first crack roman, basically vr sensors suck and I don't know why anyone uses them? Both me and tom used a 36-1 trigger wheel and an off the shelf hall effect sensor along with the supplied shielded cable and had prefect triggering off the bat.
  9. I would almost wager that your average RBWAT munter would struggle installing a Link just as much as a prebuilt MS.
  10. You tripping KK, I bought a new static 3 point belt from them less than a year ago.
  11. Basically the tuning software is as easy to use as any other (comparable to using mac vs pc etc), they both have the same functions, just some things are called different things and the layout is different, so if a shop says they can't do it what they are really saying is "I can't be fucked doing it"
  12. Oh shit you poor sod. Great work on getting it going, no good dead goes unpunished hahaha
  13. Yea more deets on engine combo danger well tell you what's up.
  14. Also get a microsquirt because it uses a propper connector not the stupid dp37 one.
  15. Just buy a microsquirt, you can easily configure it in tuner studio to do what you want, as if you choose the right components it will make your life easy. Then it is just wiring it up. Use gm temp sensors, hall effect crank trigger, ls coils, and a gm map sensor and your life will be easy.
  16. I have the lc2 and it works great. It completely synced with my MS, and even their own program logworks worked well for data logging.
  17. Just to clear things up, can you describe/ take photos of the setup? Also can you make it run at all?
  18. If the pump inlet is below the fuel level then there will be sufficient head to allow it to prime, I would suggest that your issue is somewhere else. Is it negative switched from the ECU and you have the relay wired up all wrong? Also the fuel pump will run while the engine is, but will stop if it does.
  19. It will be sweet. Good work man, it looks rad with the new tyres.
  20. I can't really remember what it said, but I think it is to do with the air speed and the travel length, so at low rpm / low throttle the fuel can fall out of suspension but at high rpm it doesn't get a chance. And yea +1 to 15 bar fuel pressure.
  21. Man this thing keeps getting better and better, can you enter it in a burn out competition please.
  22. That won't have much of an effect seeings as it is evaporative cooling.
  23. Roman, the reason you make more power is because of the fuel cooling the intake charge, not because of has more time to mix. When I read about that it was a bit of a eureka moment.
