  1. I think that's the best place to start. If it was my car I'd find out what bore size the master cylinder is and what bolt spacing the flange is, then call into BnT or Safe R Brakes and see what factory dual circuit cylinders are available with the same measurements. Nissan? ones have a neat clamped on reservoir that can be swapped to a clamp on hose tail to make a remote reservoir easily to help fit under your intake manifold. You could space the drivers side engine mount up slightly to gain a bit more room too? Some early cars that had a brake booster as an option had two holes on the brake pedal for boosted and non boosted options. Depending on the legality you could drill a new hole slightly up the brake pedal to give a bit more leverage with your un boosted system. My 2cents.
  2. Roll as is. *Fit a dual circuit master cylinder.*
  3. LSD! Awesome upgrade. Next update needs to contain Starlet doughnut pics.
  4. I can't remember now, it's been a few years. Get it to rock on 4 and work it out from there.
  5. Oh yeah the cam locating pins will be on top when the cams are in the right place too. You can see it on the exhaust cam of All Torque's pic.
  6. TDC is marked on the crank. I can't remember where but the key way will point straight up when it's lining up. Both sprockets have E and I line up with the flat face of the head from memory. Inside or outside it doesn't matter. I can't remember if the sprockets are interchangeable on these some of them have both E and I marked on them. They line up with the locating dowels. Make sure the Exhaust cam is lined up to the E locator on the cam sprocket and vice versa for the intake. if in doubt get it to rock on 4 to get you in the ball park.
  7. Tinted windows, burn out stance not evident.
  8. Tonight I did some welding. This was the result.
  9. I found a few hours for this over the weekend and tacked the rear end together. I'm very pleased with it. I do however want to move the chain stays out a little to give me more room for a wider tyre, it has plenty of room before it is too close to the chain wheel.
  10. Yeah well. I made these stays and had them all ready to weld on, they looked great. Until I realized I'd completely fucked up and put the bend too far forward and it wasn't going to clear the crank or chain wheel. I sulked about it for a few weeks, ordered some more tube, made a couple of changes to the bender I'd made, and started again. Here's what I have now. This time! I also managed to borrow a pair of original Assassin handle bars to make a copy of. Mint!
  11. Got a nice folding one here too if you need it.
  12. Shit. Worst possible outcome.
  13. Broken exhaust manifold/manifold to turbo bolts can cause some odd noises.
  14. What a gigantic c**t. Are the head and cams scrap metal? Has it put shit through the rest of the motor?
  15. What front suspension and steering rack have you used there? Escort? Your car looks awesome btw.
  16. Is there something we should know Clint? I saw some nasty Boyd tri spokes on your coupe recently. Have you got a tri spoke problem?
  17. My old EB V8 sounded cool and used lots of gas. Beat that readers.
  18. Well done. What was the cause/solution of the brake problem?
  19. I nearly fell off it onto the roof of a car one night. I managed to wobble back the other way and jump off.
