  1. Hahaha think I saw this at the Watson campgrounds at Gizzy!
  2. Water blast then blast it with kerosene. Repeat a couple times and should be sweet.
  3. Don't worry about the wheels for me anymore mate, ended up giving em a pass due to funds. Cheers though.
  4. Haha knew it ay. Nah bro think he works like 3 nightshifts, could be wrong though. Such a bastard ay the bro doesn't even hook us up with discounts.
  5. If he's interested in Chevette's he should get in touch with Tony Lynch, who's in Dairyflat. He's the Local guru and has an HSR Replica Chevette which he's just slapped a quad carb 1uz into. Also has an original Blydenstein Twincam slant engine that was out of an original HSR and his modded lotus 2300 (which the blydenstein engine is based off) that he used to run in his chevette. Could probably arrange this if he's keen?
  6. Cheers boe, the man! Will keep you posted if I do go ahead and purchase the wheels and what not. Thanks
  7. Fuck the music fits that clip so well. Shit is gangsta! haha makes me want to buy a shuttle
  8. I haven't brought them yet but they are same as these.. Just a spare set for my Mirage ay. Look pretty sweet though!
  9. If you're heading through Palmy there's some rims that I may need picking up>delivery to Auckland if there is space. Brews or gas Money will be provided. Will let you know though, may not buy em depending on state of New years funds hhaha
  10. Sweet ute bro! would be sweet on some widened steels with some crazy bike engine. Oh and do you work at Hells pizza down by Kristin? Swear I've seen (what looks like) your skyline parked up. My Mate Mike works there eh.
  11. Chur bro, no need to rush. Just get that Carina slammed on its ass!
  12. Otherwise I have one you can borrow. Live up in Stanmore bay though.
  13. Haven't been able to get the intake setup sorted due to being caught up with tumeke work and Tony (whose been helping me with this project) had been very ill and had pneumonia over the last few weeks (he's recovering sweet and got the dry sump setup in his 1uz quad carb chevette all in, set up and firing away ). Anyway over the last few days with Tony's help I have managed to get a lot of work done on the intake set up. So far we had built up more alloy around the plate as we needed to make mounts for the sr20 throttle body to sit on, skimmed back the plate, bored it out to 60mm, grinded>milled>sanded the welds back to look pretty, drilled holes to allow capscrews to sit flush with the plate so the throttle can be mounted flush on the plate, tap to fit studs to mount the tb and beadblasted it once finished. Next I had stripped down the throttle body, bathed it all in kerosene then bead blasted everything I could, Re-plated the linkage, replaced all the washers and finally reassembled. Far I hate it when you forget how things go together then have to piss around for ages trying to make ends meet so bloody annoying! haha oh well can only blame myself.. Time for pics eh. Sorry about the dump, trigger happy with the camera and proud of the work as its all new to me and i'm bloody stoaked. Enjoy... Mock up of how the flange & tb need to sit.. Welding blobs to build up the area for tb mount. First time milled back. Welds ground down. Holes for capscrews drilled out. Note difference in size to allow larger TB. Mock up with tb mounted. Final piece milled and blasted. Throttle body dissassembled. Cleaned/blasted/re-plated tb reassembled. Shit looks brand spankin! Nissan engineering lulz. And finally everything mocked up once again. All that's left now is to clean out the rusty water shit left in the galleries at the manifold>tb mount. Then I can weld them up then start to bore out the inlet to 60mm. Once that's done Figure out how we are gonna make the new injector seats (weld alloy rod onto the intake manifold), shorten the fuel rail and make up a mounting bracket. Finally when that's all sorted i'll clean it all out, give it a blast then send it off to the powder coaters to get a coat of satin black. Hoping to suss this out before xmas. Shit would be priiiiimo as ! Chur, Tai.
  14. Will probably come check it out tomorrow for a little bit.
  15. Could use the freeze spray shit that you spray on bruises and sprains and shiiiet.
  16. I've got a pair you can borrow. Up on the coast though in Stanmore bay.
  17. May be able to mod a ducktail wing off an ae80 liftback??
  18. Theres an old Bloke called Frank who works from home and lives a bit behind the Pare prison. He's been our family panelbeater for a long time and he does a lot of truck work as well. Can contact him on 4139572
  19. Hands down my favorite build on Oldschool. Love this shit man, hope to see it in the flesh sometime.
  20. Tony Lynch up in dairyflat can do it. Not too sure what his pricing is like ay but he does a good job. 021971612. He just got hit with pneumonia though so would have to wait a week or so for him to recover. Bloody gc.
  21. God i'm a dyslexic bastard. Only just deciphered the title. Thought it was some Welsh stz at first glance :L
  22. I cant flip the centers as the mounting surface on the front ain't flush and I cant bolt them on the inside because of the same reason and it wont fit through the middle of the band. Keep in mind these are only two piece wheels. These wheels are +38 If I went for a lower offset the wheels would poke soooo far out of the front guards. Gotta run spacers on the rear to try get them flush-er with the fronts.
  23. Hahaha yea they're pretty damn bright eh. They were powdercoated at hbc powdercoating.
