  1. You get 5% allowance up and down from the cert height I thought? /too lazy to look it up.
  2. Six speed behind a 3A, awesome haha! /want
  3. Looking good guys, quality as per usual. If you need a cowl for the fire I can keep an eye out at work if you let me know the diameter. 100mm? Would just need to cut the top off the flue.
  4. Shit that's sweet! The guy must have been crying on the inside at the deal!
  5. Could you just run the factory trumpets with filters? They curve so could be pointed away from the centre for more space.
  6. Lol ^^ Even if you found one that is the correct size, it's going to look out of place. Most are fitted into dash panels and not separate from what i've seen. Pick a part would be the best place to start, clocks are usually overlooked so should be a good range. The analog ones in starlets are pretty sweet though!
  7. Last time I went there, the queue was out the door so I bailed. Anyone know if the buzz has calmed down yet?
  8. Think of it as a lottery, the prize is death. 'Buy' as many tickets as you like. You could have 100 tickets and not win. Someone with one ticket might. Feeling lucky? Punk.
  9. Is 14.5V the max it reached with giving it some revs? How are the fluid levels looking in the battery?
  10. Replace the truck chassis with the correct width to suit the towbar. Or one of the above options. Does the chassis only touch at the top where the bolt holes are? If so, i'd bend it to suit, 3mm is tiny really, so it shouldn't need much tweaking at all. A lot easier than cutting and welding things.
  11. It probably does have the aids. If you plan to remove it yourself, do a lot of homework. There is no "bad, and not so bad" when it comes to asbestos, it's all bad. I should know, I have the card to say I sat through a boring course about it. Just like anyone else working on fletcher stuff would have (in CHCH). Even if it's just normal fibreboard, that shit is full of shit too, so you'd want to protect yourself in any case. Demolish it in weather like today (fucking wet, for those not in CHCH currently), where there is no possible way for dust to be created. Plus all the other safety gear of course.
  12. If it's just a small cheapy, and unless you're going the strip and replace seals / everything, i'd just get a new one. $40 usually gets you a new one. You could just lift your car by hand and save some $$$
  13. I think the next person to ask why you don't just drive it on, should get banned. /hurry up 26th!
  14. Good times, new desktop right there for me. Can't wait to see the rest.
  15. Yeah I would have been pretty upset if I got caught in the hail we had not long after! 20mm hail stones would not play nice with the panels.
  16. Pretty sure (90% sure) you'd need a cert if you went with adjustable camber plates for option one. Just something to look into if you decide to go that way.
  17. Have a read in here: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/22966-re-registering-a-vehicle/
  18. If the piston is flush with the caliper, then I can't see how it can't fit if they are the correct parts. Some photos perhaps to give more clues.
  19. Can't just give it a whack? If that doesn't work you may need a bigger hammer haha. I'd post a pic of where to hit it, but i'm not on a computer at the moment. Maybe use your screw tool to put some pressure on it, then whack the arm where the ball joint passes through. So right on the end.
  20. Hit it in one go? I'm running out of free time before nats fast, but will show up to whatever/whenever.
