  1. If the other suggestions don't work (some locknuts are designed so that no normal socket or wrench can get enough grip) get a socket that fits over it very snugly.. Then fill it with bog before ya smack it back over the nut. Use an old rachet without the ball detent release thing (you will fuck it) and keep the ratchet on the socket when you put it on so all the bog can't escape. Wait for it to set hard.
  2. I got the zorst bits. Flow master mufflers etc so very happy. Then bought 4 sets of mild steel vband flanges from DSR (great blokes to deal with and great pricing) and got some flexis from STA. Had 15 minutes spare at work today so zzzzzt. Bloody love doing exhausts for some reason.
  3. So is it the arm that changes position or the shock? (Relative to the bottom arm)
  4. Oh man, I feel for ya! Not much more frustrating than stuck bolts (and stuck broken drill bits) You might have to make some sort of bush fixture to align the drillbit over the hole. Such a pain.
  5. I'll try again tonight. I tried sending the page full of files/description etc and it just gave me a pretty non descript error. I'll try again tonight
  6. hey guys. Just tried uploading a file and have got an error. Has it been shut down for new uploads?
  7. Nah mate ya would have been passing new cars through the hills because they actually weren't trying
  8. Yeah iv had a good look around. Seems the only way to be sure is to buy a reputable brand. DBA even heat treats their rotors which apparently something that isn't done by cheaper manufacturers.
  9. Yeah obviously there's some that have better cooling slots (I think DBA has better shaped slots) and some have holes and slots etc.. But there's still a huge price difference between discs that look completely identical
  10. Is there a difference between 85$ (pair) and $300 brake disks? They all look the same to me.
  11. Watch "Squealing beagle pup" on YouTube https://youtu.be/2p0DQBPT15o
  12. Iv just linked to a random vid of theirs but they have loads. People PAY for tutorials like this- very well done and I see and hear related questions get asked so often I figured they were worthy of a thread. Watch "How to Make a Carbon Fiber Car Bonnet/Hood - Part 2/3" on YouTube https://youtu.be/YWbGx_BJVvM
  13. Much if that flexible PCB could be replaced by normal wire and crimp on eye terminals
  14. I found when I did mine (different alternator though) that it soaked up a little current through the S wire (guess it has to to actually sense). I was worried enough to rewire it to ignition- just wanted to make sure that I could leave it for weeks without going flat) If you do it this way you need to ensure that your switched sense wire doesn't have any voltage drop (or it will overcharge the battery) I understand you must always connect the lamp wire (from memory it GROUNDS the lamp but I could be well wrong)
  15. Wow.. I'd live there in a tent with that view!
  16. She listens AND Shes cute. Bloody hell you did well.
  17. I had a birthday so got to buy a few bits a pieces. A friend of mine (who most of you probably know) was putting an LS into his Kingswood wagon but changed his mind- so I got a bloody great price on his nearly completed full twin 3" exhaust system. Way overkill for my 350 but YOLO...I couldn't have built ANYTHING using new parts for what this cost. Also hammered Ali and got lots of random bits like these Also stripped the non factory sound proofing out of the floors. It's been patched previously in a couple of spots and they didn't do the worst job- just a shame they made lap joints everywhere and its started rusting in-between the metals. Holy shit- can't wait to get this rust free and off to Greg for carpets.
