Yes, mine has been narrowed, just using 2 short factory axles.
-
Is it the right width for what you are doing? Or are you narrowing it?

Will be interesting to see what the center section is like, you might be able to return it to lsd easily From memory all the parts for the diff are quite cheap on rockauto, apart from spider gears. I ended up finding a lower km one at pick a part and got another set of spider gears which were good. They seem to be prone to damage I got stuff for mine off rockauto and found mustang cobra has better lsd bits so got those instead of exploder ones

For some reason when I saw the pics I immediately thought of danger mouse's original car. It's quite cool. I like the gauges

I gave up on those things and put a magic box in instead. No more problems https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/msd-5520/ I might have some spare ignition boxes if you want them but I think as mentioned ^ the resin has started to come out so I dunno if they are any good or not

I love rockauto. Have been fiddling about with brake calipers for the front, I had previously got some 4 pot surf calipers from pick a part but the surf disc is narrower than the valiant ones and slightly smaller diameter so I was going to have to mill the caliper slot bigger and then I wasn't sure if the pads were going to be too fat I went to cardwells to see if there was wilwood caliper that was a bolt on, and there was 1 option, but it would have needed a bigger disc and I don't think they would have worked with the wheels I have I was doing a cert on a surf the other day, and saw it had fatter discs than the one I had got the calipers off, went on rockauto, found a v6 one of the same year had the bigger discs so ordered a pair of reconditioned calipers, $25usd each and here within a week. So now all I need to do is get the disc diameter machined down 3mm or so and it will all bolt up, yuss

Yep, that's the cert requirements, a line lock needs cert though so even if you have it done as per that, it shouldn't pass wof without cert.

Not yet. I can sort a dog smell but I might need a hand with the other aromas

Was at a compliance center today and they had a pair of seats they had taken out of a Prius of all things... anyway I asked if they were for sale and now I own them. Head rests are a bit big, but they are very tidy with no rips and the foams in the base are good. I put one in the car and it looks like they are going to be very easy to fit, if I swap a couple of brackets side to side, the inside will bolt in with some doubler plates, and the outer will bolt on to the bench seat mounts. They even have a pump up lumbar thing so I can take old man @sheepers for a ride and his vertebrae will be suitably supported

With raglan nats already organized I thought that would be a good target to aim to get this done by. Parked motorbikes at the back of the garage to avoid distractions for now Ordered a few bits for it this week, fingers crossed rockauto solves my brake caliper issue. and fitted a wastegate this weekend. I think the next step is put the engine in the hole and start making exhaust and intercooler piping

Shiiiit that crash sucks. I've also been hit by a pissed idiot when I was in a van, not as bad as you though. Didn't want another van without engine in front after that Good to hear you're coming right -
What do you do with all these drift trikes? Do you give them to friends? Otherwise you must have quite the collection haha

Dunno if it's the right ohms But I've always had good results with msd blaster coils

Nah they masked around it. If I did it again I'd strip more out I think Chur. I have a bit of a thing for povo spec Japanese cars with unpainted bumpers and door handles etc. I don't know why I covered the rear interior panels today, stole an idea from someone else's build thread. Went to the warehouse, got 2 $5 blankets and a can of ados, got glue all over my fingers, done.

How do you straighten them? Big press? Or heat /weld in scientific positions?
-
X ray laboratories. Much better price than sgs too

Got it back last Saturday and spent all weekend and a few nights this week cleaning parts and reassembling. I got a mystery pack of plastic trim clips off Ali which was very handy for replacing all the broken ones Paint is.... meh. It cost $1600 all up, that was to tidy up a couple of dents, do the outside, inside the rear door and touch up one of the front door shuts. There's a few runs and badly masked bits and all of the dust inside when I picked it up Realistically it's better than I could have been bothered to do though and it looks ok all back together I painted the bumpers with black plasti dip type paint which makes them look heaps better, I'll be interested to see how it lasts

I havnt seen any of it in person so I dunno... I had a look at one last week that had china bags and valves and that was really throw it all in the bin and start again Most of the air suspension setups I have certed have had better quality parts, and self leveling systems The way the rules are written, it's very difficult to get a system to comply without a self level system

Looks like chassistech/airbag it.com They have been selling bottom of the barrel air bag stuff for a long time
