How long did it take to weld in that patch? Looks like a bastard of a job to do -

Pretty rough, but it looks to be reasonably complete at least. Congrats on finding one -

http://www.engineswapdepot.com/?p=8336 Don't know if you've seen this, but damn it's cool. Would you go EFI? -
450hp is barely breaking a sweat, medium frame turbo will do this, and still spool quickly. I heartily approve

Scrap it in, I'll buy the drivers hinges off you for a pittance. Only 23k behind my one now!

Conveniently, a bottle of Rislone headgasket fix is also $70. Mash it in and limit bash your way to happiness, without getting your hands dirty

I love the tacho, quite stealth. Is it just an overlay? -
I am fairly certain it will be completely enfuckulated. Install blacktop 4AG stat

Good, goooooood. Drivers hinges are the best place to save weight, so remove them and send to me plz

They're terrible for rusting along the drip rails and above the hatch, just about need to unstitch the roof! Pretty sure Geartech used to carry plates for U code LSD's too, I think they had them made up in batches

Time to fit a reground cam and do some port work? NAC feature must have jinxed it -
You have two Skylines, and two Lasers. Why not two MR2s? (two RX-7's is a given really)
-
The depth of that paint is nuts! Need to get that for my sedan

If they've got a sealed insert in them already, hit me with measurements and I'll see what I can find. Or even dimensions of the strut casing could work

Great read, amazing to think you still owned the car after 40+ years! -
If you can get the J160 modified cheaper than the Niteparts one though, that's a grand off the bat. Couple of replacement T50's right there KE25's are awesome, looking forward to seeing this progress

Given the SAE ratings are at 100 degrees, I wouldn't have thought less than that would be ideal! Some of the front tug 4AG guys were hitting 140 degrees without a cooler. How big is your oil cooler?

Yikes, swiss cheese alright! Easy part to repair at least

Wow, shame to see Ben's old AW chopped to shit. What happened to it??? Cool build though! This bit made me laugh though A, B, and C pillars are worse 80's Toyota was not a good time for rust prevention

So jealous of Phantoms!

Ahh, I see...may be a facelift thing? fairly sure my old SC had them as well, and this potential one does too. Much nicer looking! Edit: nope, old one definitely had the early type mirrors, and nearly 100% certain latest one has the new type, both are 87 models.
-
Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference between the old mirrors and new? Also it's your fault I am getting one
-
Maybe? No point dwelling on it
