  1. This is the only one I can find at the moment, it looks like the expensive option (aviation oriented)
  2. The intake manifolds on these also contain thermostat housing and whatnot, I think thats what curves most peoples enthusiasm. Thats not to say it can't/hasn't be/been done, I might have some pictures but I will need to rummage, I don't do much Subaru anymore.
  3. While you are right in saying that an RX5 (or in this case rotary powered 121) is currently more valuable, as time goes on and actual collectors and enthusiasts (you know, the people with money, not the current GE Money buyers), Genuine items will be what rake in the cash, beit a RX5 or 121, not something inbetween. That said, What a mint little car, and I'd be behind a nice clean factory looking rotor install (or just about anything else from the mazda dept), afterall, its this dudes car. It would almost be a shame to butcher it too much though.
  4. I been thinkin yo, Might have to ask you about wellside for Hilux, and whether it can be done. Depending on price I could be keen burgers.
  5. Define hammer? Go to Bunnings and get two 4lb mini sledges.
  6. Fucking Sweet. How much landed if you don't mind me asking? I've tried ringing around all the repro places for bits regarding RN46, they lol'd.
  7. I had a leaky toyota, put oil on everything, when I removed engine, the mounts fell apart, from the old oil Soaks. So my vote is fuel or just about anything.
  8. My issue was that I had a 21R-U. Now I don't and life is good.
  9. Aerials are definately on the cards, just need to get my spending organised/save/look through suppilers catalouge.
  10. Not too much else out there. Try japan?
  11. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=241749408 these are cheap, and I'm broke. Now find two more, SLLLAAAAMM, and I will be your best mate.
  12. So Not a lots been changin' here. Have stopped using the GSR and Brumby, they're both tucked away in a barn for now. So this had to get some treatment to make it nice/wof. Replaced the 21R-U with a 21R Don't have any pictures of it, but the 21R-U had a mid sump and it was all mangled from the diff, Ooops. 21R out of a Celica thing, has front sump, not in perfect position, but better. Replaced front shocks, were leaking and fuct, also far too long and lame. Turns out the front has taller leaves in it I think, as every listed pair of front shocks I was supplied with was about 2" too short at full droop. What a nightmare, I work in the trade and it still took our retarded supplier FOUR pairs of shocks to get it right, and after all that, they weren't even yellow!?! Replaced the steering damper, it was just two bits of steel clunking together, looked pretty orig, now parking is worse than ever, and I still feel fairly succeptable to loosing my thumbs off-road... Muffler had split down the seams (throwing hot steel at my legs) from all the 21r-u's shitty running and backfiring. So now its a sideout. Small dia but was paranoid about it being the loud as fuck and having no performance to back it up. Removed carpet, still getting round to tracking down water leak in cab. Meh. Plumbed heater back in, heater core doesn't leak..... Can't work out why it was disconnected but ok! and found the lid on the overflow bottle was on backwards.... Which explains why I could never keep any coolant in it, fuck I was pissed off I didn't think to check it, never assume anything.... Oh and got a pair of used tyres from Si and Co. Clearance is a little close between the airfilter housing and the clutch/brake etc, but meh.
  13. Looks sosososo sweet. Please make it that low irl.
  14. giz fzr and spare motor plz/keen for some X-up's
  15. Mean, any reason why FZR has poos compression? Would be lol if it was something easy/adjust valve clearances.
  16. depends, not really 'classed' as anything with rego on hold it may be slightly unfair.
  17. Si puts the resting back at home. I think
  18. Nice! You get to the bottom of crazy compressions?
  19. We've got good rides down these ways if you're at all interested. I look at http://silverbullet.co.nz/events.php
  20. Sweet, I'd heard a bit about that track, How'd you get back from the other end?
  21. Awesome, I went for a ride with a mate of mine today with his white and pink DT175, old bikes are mean, better if they're not 100% fucked... I shall have to come up for a ride with you and diddy sometime.
