So the boot floor is now coverd in a peace of stainless. dash guages finished Glove box legnum wagon gear level boot perfect. boot layout. spent alot of time working out the exhaust to miss the steering arm, We have it solved!.

1) Is a 40L compressor big enough Have done a 323 station wagon with a 40l compressor and was a damn good job only fail was the thing filled with water due to geting so damn hot from constant running totaly fukt the roof. 2) HVLP gun ok? How much should I spend? most paint shops round te awamutu start there guys on wellmade guns, also used these to paint cars. 3) I plan to use enamel laquer as 2k is a bit scary sounding, am i being a pussy? 2k is the win. thats what i did my 323 with 2k jet black in a brand new single garage with resporator 4) How much paint will I need? if your just blowing over the outside get 4ltrs i reckon. 5) Does someone in chch have a booth I could hire? (or shall I plastic line my double garage?) plenty of damaged brand new homes have good garages just grab a empty one for a weekend. 6) Do I need to clearcoat? na. but if u do load it with pearls (no dont!)

im runing complete sigma station wagon front struts, aparently rx7 4pots and disk's will go on with an adapter plate..... but atm i have Sigma wagon lower arms Standard Lancer tie rod ends/steering arms Sigma Struts with the lancer top hats.... seems to work fine! have also ground the steering stop blocks off the cast steering arm on the hub, mean drift lock but think im going to have to go back to some unground ones, will get a pick tomorrow...

So truck now has full surf interior way better than brown!, also have the electric windows in and a newer model front bumper to mount up!. going to build a custom back deck from a surf rear end...

So finished the doors today and cleaned them all up, stript the dash down and cleaned and blacked it, polished all the guage faces. going to fit the drive shaft hoop tomorrow going to have to cut the side straps down. Got my new shifter boot fitted. a legnum station wagon one fits perfectly!. Will wire up the fuel pump tomorrow and mite try and modify the headers for the motor and get them on tomorrow... Also have to make template for new boot floor and cover panels to enclose the boot because of the fuel cell also need to make a spill ring for the fuel cell... stainless steel bowl? lol

The seats were cheap..... go go RACER! need to modify collector to clear steering components then i can finish exhaust.

So truck has a wof as of monday this week, Have chucked some new wheels on it for now but mite have a set of 17's to go on soon from my car as it was written off. Also have a full load of sounds from the car now to heh Has new brakes fitted to rear and front now, Picked up surf interior today from a friend who owns a exporting yard and also going to grab some complete surf doors to fit for electric windows
