The most i could get out of it was 100mph before the panniers tried to fly away and the windvisor started to flex was neat hitting fireflys at night and having glowing guts all over me tho i recall mine had a dodgy headlight and fuel gauge, so maybe electrics are poo on trse edit: hell its for sale and in hamilton. Do they actually have a seal. You keep saying scroll seal which is usually a machined surface on the rear of the crank to tgrow oil back in. The morris minor conversion kits to put a real seal in are crap - theyvrequire alot more kqchining than mentiojed to actually do a propper job

After swwing that photo of a green series mm on japanese plates and wheels in the brit cars thread i have been wondering about getting some mags instead of wide steels the set of 4 spoke almex rims polished with black centres on trademe caught my eye. Spendy tho, but i started searching for pics of minors on 13" wheels This one is on chevy vega wheels which are similar. Looks silly. Such a shame, will uave to be 14 or possibly 15" if i do edit: though the 13" steels i had on for a while didnt look as bad as the one above. Hey mate. Probably the coils in the mag-totally-neato have gotten fuel on them/are just old and have lost their insualtion coatings. This will give you over charging. Can rewind these by hand if you are totally.keen. Have to find a supplier of the correct wire then put exactly.the same number of turns on each one. Be a good idea to inspect and check them out with a multimeter

I would love this to use as aa spy car. Fit brit engine for oil slicks, or mitsi for smoke screen. Same old story no cash. No room. No time. Different country etc

If you get stuck you can do all that work with a cheap 2nd hand vice (some wood to bolt it to) a sooft face mallet. Rubber is fine. And a few punches and a selection of sockets - use the punches to knock the old ones out and the sockets to knock the new ones in did all the bearings and bushes in my car without any more than that, some just in a carpark

Cut and shut a cheap muffler. Add stainless cap screws for easy opening and stuff it with motorcycle muffler pqcking/steelos/mc chickens

And an actual question on fitting a front sway bar most of.the kits i see for.the minor attach to.the tie bar mounts by using a longer stud they are then attqched to the chassis by welding or drilling another set of mounts to. I take it this is not alowed from.the wording no cutting, heating, or welding is to the suspension components or vechicle structure is to be undertaken when fitting the bar. If so i think i could make up a bracket that could bolt to.the underside of the engine mount towers and "sleeve" the chassis rail
