  1. Gotta hit it in November otherwise we'll clash with Xmas functions. Off to Raglan we go!
  2. A++ stuff, thanks for sharing! I have one of these in the shed and have been tossing up my options with it... Now you've inspired me to uplift the newer Honda scooter frame and engine that's sitting in my Dad's shed as an engine donor.
  3. I feel like a scoop will always stand out too much... Like this: We need to make friends with this guy by the way, his name is Markku and he's got a red Corolla with a 2ZZ in it:
  4. Those are really cool! You should see if Mike Jane will lend you a curved trumpet for a test fit? They look about right.
  5. Sorry sir, I'm happy with my current faith.
  6. Sweet, I did the same trip in my 348 last year. Tane Mahuta made me jizz / the roads around there are amazing. INVESTMENT PLATES! KK is available, and AE . 86 has sold though...
  7. KE70 is most likely the same as an AE86 rack on the outside/in almost every way. They're the same chassis. I remember now, that rack went to Invercargill.
  8. Didn't we pull the rack out of the red AW parts car? I thought sure we did...
  9. God damn those shocks looks sex. I need to get a real job again so I can buy some for the front of my car...
  10. I thought this said "Bonnet and Grill park up"... That'd be an awesome name for a diner.
  11. The idea of the tacho becoming an IRL real time fuel economy graph lols me.
  12. That was a choice day! Well done on the successful event Greg.
  13. Man this thing looks exceptional. Sorry if I've missed it, did you raise this up before it went in for panel and paint?
  14. First post updated. We'll now be running our meets on the 2nd to last Thursday of the month (same week as Auckland's meet, but the night after). The main change is where we're parking - park here:
  15. From the look of that video there is far more going on than just a lack of swaybar. Trying to turn on loose gravel like that is always a mission, so the best way to get rid of understeer is a more generous application of handbrake, then pin it to come out of the turn. (Skids for kids etc) My list of things to look at before changing the bar would include: Front shock condition Tyre condition Spring rates Swaybars are another spring in the suspension system and they work on vertical movement, so your links need to be fairly close to vertical to make them work. See the below pic - the suspension needs to push the bar up and down. You can also mount the bar below and have the links pointing up if there's space.
  16. Those flares will look great when you get them right! I'm tempted to get you to make me a bonnet too...
  17. I've said this before, but keep doing exactly what you're doing! Watching low HP cars battle against the big boys is awesome. One day you'll have 200hp and be able to stick it with the 1000hp boys in D1. You shall be known as Keiranhiro Ueo.
  18. Lay off the pies! That poor RR suspension couldn't handle it any longer .
  19. ClubAW was awesome. I take it from that last post that you're keeping the standard viscous LSD rather than going for a plate type or torsen type unit?
  20. Glad to see it's coming along! I'd recommend bracing the upper 4 link mounts back to the wheel arch. Mine were similar to yours but with angled braces to the tunnel - still cracked eventually. They will get a bit of a beating, so it's better to be safe!
