Scuffing up the drums wont have much effect. I used to cunt around with trying to patch up shit brakes. But nowdays I just get the drums skimmed, buy new shoes, and replace wheel cylinders. I get discs/drums machined for $20 a pair. and the last time I did rear up, I paid $20 for wheels cyls, and about $25 for shoes. assemble, then set and forget. Unless you are uber poor, I would just fix it properly.

But I need to get some female ends put on. -3AN one end, (fogger nozzle end) and -4AN on the other. (solenoid end) The GC who usually hooks me up doesn't carry dash fittings at his work. So where can I get them done?

The lip at the top of the bore? To waste that you need to use a different tool called a ridge reamer.

I think butler auto mart rents them out. The secret to doing it good is to run the drill really slow that you can move it up and down fast enough to get the correct pattern in the bores.
