  1. so its all up and running, manual speed o cluster, boost, cut man ecu etc, goes algood now being man, need to book in for a tune just to make sure mixtures are ok..o yea theres not only a differance in lenght between auto/man driveshaft but even the flange ends are diff aswell.
  2. can now comfirm a couple of things, auto drive shaft is 68mm to short but will go in man box, gona see if a s6 driveshaft will work also the s6[batty] flywheel is lighter and is sweet as on the s5.. also can comfirm different mounting points for auto/man trans, but looks like we can just slot the holes on the mount and will be algood but yet to comfirm..
  3. havit got another car so will remake or mod to work sounds easy on the write up,if i can make a mount so a t50 can go into a kp60 the rota should be piece of piss, cross the wof problem when/if it happens
  4. yea was good read have [rinted it off for ref when doing conversion
  5. on a side note you can use the auto starter just need to cut/grind a little off it,if u have both starters u will c what i mean..
  6. thanks for all your replys,i no s4 and s5 cross members are different, now know the drive shaft is different thanks, maybe its just the end? will be using auto ecu, shouldnt be hard to pin out for nutral and wire reverse lights.using a batty flywheel(new) new clutch etc got a new spigot beering to. was hoping there was no diff between s5 auto and s5 man..but got a welder and somone who is good on it (not me lol) if anyone in hamilton got a drive shaft let me no thanks
  7. ok so ive got a series 5 rx7 auto that i want to change to manual, ive got gearbox peddel box flywheel clutch fork clutch well yet to buy one new of corase, few things not really sure on and cant seem to find the info so i ask in here.. drive shafts not sure if i need to change that..changing ecu anyways to manual been chipped etc gearbox cross member different between auto /manual not sure. any help would be helpful thanks..
  8. think ive got it sorted now, gona use rb20 injectors, and intake if i have to,everything else is r20e tb afm etc, dont think i the guy i got it from knew putting vl injectors would cause problems, only other problem there may be would be afm,to small maybe, sure i could probaby sort that out aswell.ill keep u guys posted as to how it all works.. im not expert thats for sure, this is my first rb powered car lol... thanks for your insight..
  9. i got the car like this, with low imp injectors already in it.. the ecu supports high imp being the ecu is rb20e.. so putting in rb20e injectors should fix the problem/using heaps of gas..everything else is working fine been tested proformance wise it goes really well. or will for some reason rb20e injectors not work,as people say i need a resistor? why do i need it.?? ecu =high rb20e injectors=high perfect match correct..
  10. my ecu supports high impendace, but its got vl low impendance injectors. so rb20e are high impendance injectors but are a little biger 270cc i think,, aways thought i could just change out the vl ones and was hoping the rb20e{high} ones would go straight in??
  11. it went for the tune up to see why it was using lots of gas eg 25dollars to the 30 to 40 k mark seems a little bad to me..and thats nt frying the tyres everywhere .. this is how i know the injectors are not right, they are low impendance injectors and my ecu needs to have high impendance.. now would fitting a resistor pack increase or decrease the impendance,or can you get one to increase, and another that will decrease??
  12. hq rear shocks would have been a good start 80mm shorter.. or theres 4by4 ones 120mm shorter think its sukui
  13. ok ive got a c33 laurel factory rb20e auto. motor has been changed to a rb30e from a vl small problem is its running the injectors from the vl, size is fine think its 250cc but the impendance is not low impendance vs high impendance ecu.. This seems to be causing big fuel consumpution, ive found this out when i took it for a tune. still running rb20 afm ecu etc including tb,been told you do this so you dont need to change the loom so what im thinking of trying is running rb20e injectors which are high impendance 270cc think they are,any thoughts should fix fuel being so close cc whys.. should also mention car runs fine and goes hard..for na anyway
