  1. I did that with my v2000 as I couldnt get a good swing on. Few scrapes round the edge with a file and glued the cunt in
  2. File it down a bit and shellac it in?
  3. Can you do your own cert? Or gotta use someone else ?
  4. Flash I just use c02 at home .....so much cheaper haha and really no differnt to weld with..
  5. As far as english wheels go the machinery house ones are pretty rubbish. But if its doing what you want then that's all you can ask for yeah? You might find if you start to use more pressure they bend pretty quick The ones we have at work for wheeling guards/doorskins/roofs/whatever are much sturdier. Most are cast iron and virtually unmovable or like ours and fabricated from some serious thick plate or c channel . And have wider planishing wheels . 3" ish where the metal master ones are a lot thinner
  6. I have now spent a lot of money on parts cars. One manual v3000 was acquired for manual conversion parts as I'm sick of the auto playing games. And another is a turbo hardtop eterna thst is beyond rusty Work will continue soon
  7. Also durex do some good lubes for rubber......
  8. Is it possible to make the alternator moveable like most things?

If it bothers you that much. Sand it back and repaint. Cant flat and buff matt without it going shiny
  10. Rubber grease is the best. Wipe off excess afterward and what's left normally soaks into the rubber with time
  11. @h4nd Ignore hamish Go to warrick you will not regret it

I have a sagola gt3 that's a decent gun. 1.8 tip from memory Dont be tempted to buy a cheap shit one as a good even coat of epoxy/primer is the first step to a good paint job. I cant speak for the iwata az3 specifically but I also have a w400 for a top coat gun and is decent for the money.
  14. I work for auto restorations ltd. We work on stuff like this on the day to day. Most of the mechanics are top notch. Even @Bluebear01 works here too. I am panel though so I cant ruin it to much. Haha
  15. +1 for CBC We use them at work and I use them myself for my one cars. Never had a bad job from them Safe r brakes can some times be better for old shit like that as they stock a lot of older parts
  16. Has it been inspected for repair cert? Something like that can sometimes create dramas with repartee cert proscess
  17. @Mr.Mk1 why has the new floor been plug welded to the driveshaft tunnel? Personally when I'm doing floors an area like that will get but welded and a light dress to look factory
  18. Derp shoulda posted that in the van discussion. To bad here now
  19. Good progress. Welding them back together is the best feeling. Boot floor is a work of art. No small feat making a panel like that. Good shit
  20. I'll add to the stretch of main rd before the pelorus bridge is pretty punishinh if you cant maintain 80k + And day 3 has a good tarmac stretch from nelson to st Arnaud so top speed helps here.
