  1. Do you want to keep texture or smooth out?
  2. I’d just tape the edges with the ali tape stuff
  3. I’ve used it for that but kinda peels off where it gets real hot.best I’ve used aeroflow ali embossed stuff over the top and made less noise and stoped my wife’s shoes melting to the floor
  4. The rear springs were half the weight or the standard springs, some of the shocks had leaked in box and the welds looked like shit. One of the boss’s got a set for his kids civic and broke the springs within a week
  5. When I was dealing with ordering from China for work they would paint things any colour you wanted and print anything you wanted on them even on small orders. Got afew full lift kits for utes for free to try in a container once and I just put them in the scrap pile
  6. You really need to work out what you want to spend and what can you do yourself. There’s lots of little things you don’t think of at the time but end up costing if you carnt do it yourself
  7. Years ago when I was importing cars the warrants were issued at the compliance place and if they weren’t registered within a certain time they de reged and had to go back to compliance, think it was a year not sure but that was back 2008ish
  8. Yeah when I was fitting things to new utes afew years ago I brought this up in a meeting with big Auckland dealers and the response was not our problem when warranty runs out. They never sold the parts to you they sold you a truck and u had the parts fitted but as a service to you as a customer we will get them fitted before pick up. Toyota was the only one that wouldn’t let curtain products fitted
  9. Wyatt tools do all the Rupes stuff and somtimes have good deals on sanding discs
  10. My wife’s best mate has somthing to do with this she.Insurance company’s are having a shit how the bullbars and such are taking utes off the road in a small crash.they are questioning how are they not under cert when they change the strength of the Ute.they don’t want to insure any modification. I know if you do the bolts up on some certain brand bars to tight you crush the front crumple zone on a ranger chassis. Some Utes you can see the front of the chassis sag after fitting
  11. The bars I use to fit u had to cut 90% off the bumper and use the top part as a filler around headlights and grill
  12. Good job about time. When I use to fit them 60% of them went on 2wd utes
  13. In the far north we play a game to see what’s the newest dereged car is when we go shopping, so far a it’s a 2021 ranger
  14. From past experience chassis tech stuff real average, valves lasted 3 months and compressors about the same
  15. Super cheap does take them but you have to take it into the counter. They said they had to get rid of the bins as people were putting in antifreeze or just pouring the oil into them, same old story fuckwits
  16. Sem products are good, just do exactly as the instructions say and you be fine. We use to paint /dye shit all the time for cars/boats/planes
  17. I was hoping near $500 the owe me $1000 and has a spare hubcap but missing crown badge
  18. I got these with new tyres but they in Auckland.
  19. In real life they look cool with that kit. Mooneyes had one but it was a panel van on wide smoothies
  20. The problem with these are they are old and have been trashed/bashed about and you spend money keeping them going. If it was me I’d look at the euro options as in clio cup,rs megane or something like that. Yeah not that fast but they are well sorted from factory and you can buy shit loads of aftermarket bolt ons. Keep it wof/reg and try some events then if you decide it’s not for you, you can sell off a road going car and not have to worry about fuckwits lowballing you
  21. You get a log book for the car and it has all the details of cage spec from Motorsport nz. You need it no matter if car regd or not. Getting a cage and proper safety shit is pricey these days and if if it’s not got a reg you need to trailer it to the event so that’s a cost as well. You can still do abit with just a regd car and have a ball doing it but you need to realise there’s no cheap Motorsport. It always costs
  22. If they pull the wof they send you a letter. My sister got hers pulled, she just had to go get another one from someone else
