  1. I’m gonna guess that’s an ex downers truck cos of the yellow color and its location the 24v pump was probably just for up on the broom cos it prob ran a snowplough half its life - no need for stop / pto in / raise plough just electric up gravity down when solenoid opens have seen a few where the hoist is off the 24v pump also but not the broom rotate function with the combo of hoist broom and hiab it must be a total rats nest of hoses but hey remove what ya don’t want and may get some spare hoses for what you need
  2. Those are good I got one to replace the plastic rear brake res on my bmw motor sickle - same size fits perfect doesn’t leak available in a range of ghey ano colours - sure I saw larger ones cheap as

Multiple reasons can’t be fucked with the admin of getting cert from a remote area can barely fit in the thing anymore and too harsh bumpy for me and the missus to enjoy with our aging and decrepit bodies it’s all about comfort now Over the whole “miata yata with juddies drop kick dumb kid culture that has grown around the cult car “ and don’t want to be associated with it in any way shape or form Really enjoying having the shed and hoist space back

  11. Steel sleeve inside the bike rack so it’s a tighter fit on the ball and a plate with a hole in it at the top of the sleeve so the tow ball top has something to locate to and the bolts have something to pull down against when I worked in a bike shop the owner had a merc with euro tow ball and just bought the T7 rack that fitted and that was pretty much the difference can prob buy just the upright not the whole rack
  12. Have put 1.5 ton on the 250kg setting on a supercheap hoist and then moved it around … as above I would be more worried about centre of gravity than shear strength
  13. Yes they do so need monitored / maintenance charging and to be stored in a flameproof storage We have all seen the videos of exploding vapes cellphones and laptops Once they go puffy chuck them out on the concrete driveway hook up an old unregulated car battery charger and a long extension cord stand well back and flick the switch lol
  14. Actual zero on a lithium battery is past the voltage they go puffy and catch on fire there will be a cutoff in the controller or battery pack well before that ( meter may say zero but the actual cell voltage will be at a safe minimum )

  20. Little truck handbrake disc system - Nissan condor uses disc handbrake and the caliper is just basicly 2 long bars of steel with brake pad holders - pivot at one end and handbrake cable squeezes the two onto the disc - spring retracts - about as simple as it gets
  21. Is the cigweld 135 mig the same they sell at supercheap ? If so i had one it’s ok but upgraded to a newer inverter style mig and the difference is very noticeable also the cigweld 135 is not a replaceable binzel style hose / hand piece
  22. Ha scuttle shake is such a convertible thing … prob why they put the strut brace on tightening up the door fit does a lot to fix it - if it has rubber blocks in the door striker areas then making some delrin blocks like Mx5s will help
  23. Beautiful machines probably the finest ever Ford out of England my misspent teens were spent in mk3 s the 6s always lost 2nd gear and then eventually threw # 5 rod out of bed a nice mk3 lowered a little and debumpered and with the front and rear seams removed is a very slippery and road hugging aerodynamic shape will be awesome with 289
