Still not sure that I can make it. Wifey has a ladies' camp that weekend but don't know if she's booked herself in for it.- 1055 replies

An older guy I work with runs a 302 with 289 heads. Reckons it was a pretty standard thing to do for gaining a few extra horsepower back in the day. Not related to your timing question but you may find it useful.

Just chlorine tori? Pretty sure that's what the Jerries used in WW1. Uncle Bill lost all function in one lung in that little lot.

Wonder if that would be an easy change into an EN Civic? Anyone know?

Are fwd slippery diffs even a thing? Would be handy sometimes for off-road use.

Not looking good for me. Still too broke. So far overdrawn that my card got declined at the supermarket tonight and I had to put half the stuff back. Which sucks a bit. I was keen for a cruise to Ranfurly and a bit of sharn sharing.- 1055 replies

Brit and Euro Classic Car Show - Auckland - Sunday 5th March
igor replied to michaelme's topic in Upper North Island Region
My Civic got knocked back more than once for oil leaks at wof time. Must be extremely contagious. Just having them sold in Britain badged as Triumphs made mine leak oil here. -
How rust fucked does a car have to get to be ordered off the road by the cops in Canada? Does it vary between provinces or is it a federal thing?

Is the plug between the door loom and the main loom connecting properly?

Was a V8 LTD ute getting around Whangarei back in the early '90s. Interior was out of a Fairmont Ghia I think. The builder and the next owner both belonged to the same club as me. Wonder if it's the same one? -
This is relevant to my interests also. Is it possible to remove your tank and invert it for easier cleaning? I can't remove the tank on my sixty year old tractor without removal of the cab and the steering wheel as the column goes through the tank and a cab cross-member goes over the tank.

Make sure the gap is correct on the new spark plugs too.
