Don't change any axles and don't Z/notch the frame and it shouldn't be classed as a new build.

Ok i need a second opinion. Didn't realize how bad the sloping hinge line looked until i started making this.
Should i make this hinge level or just go with the unskilled dirtcar racer look sloping hinge? At the low rate of investment i'm leaning toward unskilled sloped hinge but it'll always look redneck.
Why a hood? So i can put it on if it rains or want to hide the fact it's a 4 (as if the sound wasn't a give away)
Use a separate battery for the starter motor to see if the spark is not happening while cranking for an electrical related reason (switches, relays and in the old days isolating in line resistors when they were not externally jumpable.)
Didn't know that stuff existed so i spent hours hours cutting thin sheet metal and exhaust wrap and folding the edges over where the layers meet to seal the wrap center from hot gasses.
You won't have to do that from the sounds of it.
