  1. Pretty standard mini (British) things you are finding
  2. You may find no amount of driving will charge a battery that got too low. Alt wont give enough voltage to desulphate the battery. chuck it on a good battery charger and your battery may come back to life

    1965 Beeza

Nice, love beezas, got a b26 myself.
  4. I run one behind a ford, haha. Seems fine to me, only 300hp though.
  5. Coils in the radiator may be part of your idle issue. Surprised it even ran, must be sealed well
  6. External valve on tank? Weird, not one on mine and not easy to get to like yours in the trunk. Guess factory is all sweet in this regards.
  7. Just a couple of things to check. Make sure coil is not going through a ballast resistor and that it has good 12v. Can get really weird timing issues when not getting a full 12v. Also check that the floats don't have a tiny hole causing them to sink. Rake them out and make sure they don't have fuel inside. I had a sinking float and that was an ass to sort out
  8. When looking at BMW stuff I read that you need to replace the coolant tanks and lines as they get brittle and fail bad. Don't know if this was on your model but something to research on the web first. Also read on idle control valve, if it has one, as they can become clogged and just need a good clean out. I.e it may not be a sensor issue. I don't know BMW,s at all so take the above with a grain of salt but own a couple of euros around that vintage
  9. Also I may have a full wiring schematics if you need
  10. Just saw this, awesome car. Makes me pine for my 2's again. I will own a rotary again
  11. I wouldn't touch my headers that are hpc coated again, unless i want more scars
  12. Ive got hpc headers and like it but how does it compare to the wrap? They still get damn hot
  13. York or Tecumseh - for a 67 continental
  14. Does anyone know if you can get electromagnetic ac clutchs rebuilt in NZ? I can send it to the US but shipping is a pain thanks
  15. My 36 has a solitary vacuum powered wiper. Works sweet going uphill's, haha
  16. Cool car, where in NZ will you live? that will be an awesome drag car to be at our strips
  17. Yep good fan shrouds are like hens teeth. Hence why I fixed mine also. any reason on electric fan, most time I hear they aren't as good as the engine driven with a good clutch. love my vacuum locks, as the all drop one after the other. you've done a sweet job on the Buick. Was the dash a mission and heavy bitch to get out. I got stuck under mine when it dropped on me. Had to call for help, haha
  18. Had to do the hardened grease cleanup on my seats too. Don't think any old yank tank gets away with it. Cool mechanisms though for old school engineering. No wonder the cars are heavy. I see your fan shroud is split too, another common yank issue. I used some fancy airplane 2 pot rain to fix mine. Holds sweet just have to clean up the excess. does the Buick have much vacuum operated stuff? I have vacuum climate control, power locks, cruise control etc. mission to sort as all the lines are perished. also in the process of rebuilding relays
  19. Blue one is my mates, will let him know your input on the skulls, haha. The bronze - falcons?
