Mop Head
Welp. Raizer is the boss man. Was wheelie stoked when this arrived today! Here's some real life photos of the aliexpress stuff to give ya an idea on sizes. More solid than expected for both of them. Tail light is bigger than imagined, which is actually a good thing. Gonna play with the frame and engine over the weekend.
Mop Head
Weeeew, finally got some mocking on the go. But first, needed to do a top notch job at securing the wiring for the indicators in the headlight. They were barely attached when it arrived from Ali:Then the engine mounting came. Original engine just mounted with a bolt straight through the frame but the new engine had a bracket in-between itself and the frame. A bit of grinding, and it fits pretty well. Still gotta shorten the bracket, weld it up for strength and mount some new tabs so it can be secured in 2 places and hard mounted. See below: It will end up being mounted straight up and down as opposed the angle in the below picture.First moments of Moped resemblance:And here's a clearer view, gotta get some new tabs laser cut and then will keep on keeping on from there.

Raizer
Looking good bro! I'd be looking at shortening the engine mount bracket, to me it looks like the front of the motor is a bit low?
BlownCorona
this is looking awesome, reminds me of this one i threw together super roughly for a QCR dirtmasters.
Mop Head
Yeah absolutely, motor is a bit low at the moment, will rectify that in due course. The part of my brain that makes all the bad calls is telling me to get the front shocks shortened. Don't really know how feasible that is, will do final mocks etc before that even becomes a possibility though. Love the stretched FA!
Mop Head
Stole a metre ruler. Played around and made a light bar mount. Need to shorten it up. Not bad for an hours play time..

Mop Head
New ride height sorted. Laser cut mounts sorted. Just gotta tidy up the bolts and some tube spacers. Gotta do a new shock hunt on Aliexpress now. Onwards and upwards, literally
Raizer
Looking good man! What length shock do you reckon you'll need now?
Shakotom
It looked cooler slammed out back than high That's my 2c anyway. Keep up the progress!
flyingbrick
I like those laser cut bits! And yeah.. Looks better sacked
Mop Head
Agreed, but at the height before she barely had room for the exhaust to bolt onto the head. Once I'm sitting on it, it goes right down again. With the fuel tank, oil tank and seat on she'll be as low as can be.
Mop Head
Just bought a new 320mm shock. The photo posted before was if it was 340mm. Combined with my weight etc it should still sit pretty low! http://bit.ly/1SVJkrK
Raizer
Sweet! Bit fancier looking than the 320mm Burgman shock I was going to offer you lol Any plans for the shorter one/want to sell it?
Mop Head
It's got a couple of scratches on it where it mounts up the top. But it's yours if you want it mate. I'll send it when I can.
Raizer
Awesome mate! My stock shock has no gas/oil left and is like a pogo stick haha! Depending on when I get this Stage6 pipe welded up and if it runs decent/isn't super over the top too loud I may send up my Tecnigas for you to run, if you don't have a pipe sorted by that point anyway.
