Kimjon Posted August 19, 2023 Author Posted August 19, 2023 Having a go at designing my own taillight. Im going to 3D print it, so it fits into the rear hoop. It has a flange that extends 2mm all the way around the hole, so it'll hide any rough edges. Should look "factory" the way it sits in there. Cool little side project on its own. 2 Quote
Kimjon Posted August 20, 2023 Author Posted August 20, 2023 It worked out awesome. I was a bit rough with it and took a chip out of it. So seeing how I'm having to print it again, I took the opportunity to change some dimensions to thicken up the real fragile parts, and undersize a few tight fitting areas. Kimjon Posted August 20, 2023 Author Posted August 20, 2023 V2.0 I'll print it this week when i pick up some black filament. Has 3x bolt holes to help pull in the edges for a nicer fit, plus a cord hole for wiring etc. Slightly thicker all round to be a bit stronger than V1.0. 3 Quote
