Kimjon
Fuck yeah, best day ever! @Geophy took car of these welds, so much better than I could. Bike started up and I rode it around the driveway out of excitement. Nothing is spanner tight, just loose nuts and bolts held in place by faith...but fuck yeah...fuck yeah!! 8

Kimjon
Having a go at designing my own taillight. Im going to 3D print it, so it fits into the rear hoop. It has a flange that extends 2mm all the way around the hole, so it'll hide any rough edges. Should look "factory" the way it sits in there. Cool little side project on its own.
Kimjon
It worked out awesome. I was a bit rough with it and took a chip out of it. So seeing how I'm having to print it again, I took the opportunity to change some dimensions to thicken up the real fragile parts, and undersize a few tight fitting areas. Hopefully V2.0 is the final ticket to success.

Kimjon
V2.0 I'll print it this week when i pick up some black filament. Has 3x bolt holes to help pull in the edges for a nicer fit, plus a cord hole for wiring etc. Slightly thicker all round to be a bit stronger than V1.0.
Kimjon
Came out amazing. Custom 3D printed LED taillight. Fuck yeah!! I've tweaked the drawing a little bit and I'm going to do a version 3.0. Slight changes...but mostly unseen.
Kimjon
When I said money pit... This type of purchase was what I was referring to. Holy fuck...$600 delivered. Shit adds up fast on these projects. I haven't been counting, and don't think I want to put myself through that torture. So I'm going to pretend that I've spent nothing on this bike. This will be my coping mechanism from now on...
BlownCorona
spray that tail light in bed liner and itll look even more factory, plus be protected from UV. Gives a great cast style finish.
Kimjon
New shock. Beautiful bit of gear, but purchasing it felt like I was buying shares in the company $$$

Mitch.W
Looking good! I cut off the entire yuck bit around the rear brake switch and relocated the light switch onto the rear brake leaver with a little bracket
Kimjon
Big step forward. Rest of the stuff can be drip fed, as and when I feel like doing it.
