Supplying/Painting a shipping container

Sambo

Recommended Posts

Hello Southerners!

My work is based in Auckland, but has a few construction sites around Christchurch too. We're looking at buying 1 or 2 shipping containers for use as storage on those sites. These will also need to be repainted, which may be done by a supplier or organised by us.

Does anyone have any recommendations on places to buy and/or paint a 20ft container in Chch?

Thanks,

Sam

Someone down the road from me has a 20ft container outside their house and it has been there for several weeks if not months so far. I wonder how long I could get away with that for.

It's on the grass berm right to the edge of the footpath and has about 2ish foot encroaching onto the road (much less than the width of a car anyway)

depends how cunty your neighbours are.

local council told me i could have a 20 footer in my property for 3 months without a drama, but if a neoghbour complained, it would have to go, or get consented.
