NVMPAJ
Na sorry looks like both the quadrunner and king quad are going to need front shaft work .
Stu
Sweet as, thought I'd ask in the offchance Ive got a 300 front diff and the half shafts are a different length so hoping to find some 250 ones so I don't have to machine them down. Keep up the good progress

I could have told you that, I made the same mistake but I had to take the head and barrel off as all the wheels were on and in my rush I overlapped the oil ring and had to take the top end off twice. NVMPAJ
The funny thing was I messed around for ages trying to get the motor in . Then figured it out ,and in it went just after my brain said fuel tank first !!!! . Do I say stupid design or stupid me .

NVMPAJ
Bought a prezzie for Quad 1 rego was $31 then $20 a year .

NVMPAJ
Discovered the side cover has a pinhole leak , so will either patch it with some CRC type filler that suppose to work on metal or pick up a second hand cover
NVMPAJ
Quad2 has a shiny new handbrake . Just need to bleed the brakes .
yoeddynz
Do you have to rego a quad to use on the road or only if its well beyond ya farm gate? I fucking love our quad. Damn it's been handy.
NVMPAJ
For the beach technically yes rego is required . $30 gets you a plate and label . Then its $20 a year . a little road use is OK like getting to the beach or the shop/bottle store!
yoeddynz
I think it's technically bad for our quad to use it on hard surfaces anyway as it's full time 4wd with no centre diff and can suffer from wind up. But would be lovely to pop down to the beach on...
Muncie
What's the go with rego? Class etc is it similar to forkhoist reg.
NVMPAJ
ATVs with very little road use like farms and the beach etc are cheap to register . yeah tyres aren't the best for the road .
NVMPAJ
Well bleeding the brakes turned into a mild disaster . Bleed valve broke on right hand cylinder . Left hand cylinder is all seized . Plus brake line was blocked. So will spoil Quad 2 with some new cylinders and start again. Have tried out the cheap Ali express fuel pump and she starts once there's fuel in the carb . Just need to splash out on a muffler to keep "everyone" happy
NVMPAJ
When I found this thing had no brakes I didn't think it had "NO BRAKES" literally 2
