Nominal
New rad should be sufficient with the stock fan/plumbing setup shouldn't it? If it was mine I'd try it like that first - make sure the fan is attached the correct way around.
enzee
might be worth fitting a blanking plate to the gap between the shroud and new radiator? fan may be drawing air mostly through this gap rather than through the rad? path of least resistance

Running below 90 in heavy traffic and heat though so not too worried about it anymore fortunately
mo999
Good job on the twin SU's, not sure whats with that centre pipe connecting the carbs together, it looks wrong for the vacuum pickup point for the advance? As far as tuning all the info is on the SU website http://sucarb.co.uk/technical-hs-type-carburetter-tuning-multi (yes they still make them!) lots of good stuff there. Cheers - Have fun
mtbtimr
not sure whats with that centre pipe connecting the carbs together, it looks wrong for the vacuum pickup point for the advance? Yea we thought it might be for connecting to the flywheel ventilation... But then can't find anywhere to plug vacuum advance in...
8ball
Is there no port near the mounting flange? There's usually a small pipe around the throttle butterfly near carby "base" where it bolts to the manifold.
