Southern Hardstyle
Have one of the wheels with two cracks in the spoke, I've been told to get someone to weld it. But due to regulations no one will touch it. Anyway I can get it fixed without having a new centre made from arrow wheels for $$$?
JoKer
by the looks of it I'd say no? [ttiuwop]
Bling
Where are you, and who have you asked?
flyingbrick
I'll do it. 1000 dollars Seriously though. If spokes are cracking throw them out. Why would u want any wheels that crack
Muncie
Cracked mags are usually caused by shit design or a decent knock thats putting stress in places it shouldnt be. Welding it would only be temporary its just going to crack again that'll be why no one is interested in touching it as you'll be back in a month or 3 spewing the repair failed (you might not if you sell the car). what sort of wheels are they? you may be able to get a new replacement fairly reasonably.
unhuman
Royce Clive Engineering in CHCH wouldn't weld up a crack in the spoke of an alloy wheel of mine. Â They did give a good reason, was 5 years ago though so I struggle to remember what it was. Â Something like that it would transfer the stress to the surrounding spokes, which in time would then crack. Â /Ling.
JoKer
welding aliminium usually causes hard spot next to it thus another weak spot  aloy "could be" smilar hence no one touching it, I scrapped a set for similar reason, waiting to see pics to see if they are the same set tbh
Ghostchips
If they are wire spokes you can weld them if they were welded in when new, are these steel or alloy wheels? Because i don't know about welding them.
