  3. Have one of the wheels with two cracks in the spoke, I've been told to get someone to weld it. But due to regulations no one will touch it. Anyway I can get it fixed without having a new centre made from arrow wheels for $$$?

  5. the only gs130 dash i could find was a factory 1ggze, this one is from a 120, mines a gs126, should fit? spencer your always full of random awesome knowledge
  6. just in the process of getting two pairs of wheels shipped over from jap thanks to ewan, and am wanting to bundle in a new dash cluster with a factory tacho in it. have a gs120 (some of you wouldve seen it at the AKL meet) my question is, will a later model crown dash cluster fit in and wire up fine? not talking something new as, maybe the next model crown, gs130/136v etc, any help would be awesome, dont want to be too cool and chuck a mass 7" monsta monsta tacho with 7 different colours hanging out the side of my window for people to see. edit: http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x220283259 i mean for 21nzd (not including shipping mind you) its definitly cheaper then trying to find one at horopito.

Am basically looking at getting two front gaurds, grill, front valance from CHCH and need to get it freighted up to AKL and preferrably someone to head to this place to check it out or I have him drop it @ theirs or something, isnt through TM so am not too keen on getting ripped for it as he isnt an OS member or anyone trustworthy like that I dealt with an OS man down there a while back to get up a sprinter gaurd and shit but god help me cant remember who it was, checked my PM messages too, but its long gone from there. He managed to freight it up (at my cost of course). Any help would be awesome/beer money for your time

  9. no thanks on reinventing the wheel simple bolt on solution would be my preferred route of choice, and looks to be a standard rochester thats being run atm
  10. am looking at purchasing a weiand 177 supercharger with manifold to suit my 308, am just wondering if anyone can give me advice on what size carb i would need to upgrade to? would be running lowish boost due to high engine compression, have been told edelbrock or holley would be the go but havent been given any specific carbs to go for, any info on this would be great.
  11. am trying to find some lowering springs for my cordia without compressing my current ones, does anyone (fuel ) know if anything else would fit in there? have been told ex lancer springs do but would rather have a positive before i go and buy some.
  12. i mean atm i have some standard laurel rwd 15's on there and dont have a problem with them, should really check the offset on them though, and they arent very wide
  13. looking at putting some old jdm wheels on a fwd cordia just wondering how low an offset i can go on the front and the rear for say 7" wheels? and any more info on if i go skinnier wheels (6" 6.5") what offsets i can run?
  14. she is using 91, it seems to be in the lower end of the rev range while tyring to acclerate in higher gears, wouldnt have a clue if it is a cvcc motor, is a 85' city e 1200cc if thats any help
  15. mrs. just procured a honda city for her uni/travels and has a rattling noise when you put your foot down, old owner said possible "pinking" anyway to confirm/deny this? Would it be easy enough to take it in for a tune to stop this? Cheers
  16. having someone ask me if my 95' rvr 4g63t is same as an evo 1-3, wouldnt have a clue, does any know (fuel)
  17. so would supercheap or repco sell remote therm housings? and evo headers? Will need a few pieces of intercooler piping aswell as the rvr has the old top moutned intercooler, which is no use sitting under a van seat. If i add the upgraded evo injectors will i have to use an evo ecu? seen a few ecu upgrades on trademe, but they only seem to deal with older galant vr4's and no one seems to have a clue about the rvr turbo ecu.
  18. rvr turbo, so obviously a 450cc, are the evo injectors interchangable with the rvr turbos? and want to know where to get some extractors to suit the engine that will be able to fit in the l300
  19. as per usual fuel you are a tribute to your community, great means i wont have to be changing boxes. Also fuel do you know what cc the standard injectors are on the 4g63t? Might aswell upgrade it a bit before it gets put in to save me the trouble of doing it later, any upgrades you can recommend for more power
  20. Have been told by multiple sources that a certain l300 gearbox will fit straight onto the dohc 4g63t, currently has a sohc 4g63 in it so am hoping that my 4g63 box will bolt straight onto the new dohc, anyone have any knowledge of vr4 conversions into an l300?
  21. so should the lsd off a 95 l300 go into a 91? Need to find a mitsi freak (other than fuel) might just have to head down to the mitsi wreckers and see if they know anything
  22. thats a bugger then, i dont know whether they changed the diff on later models of l300, and if fuel cant answer it then in sure no one else can . Well just spent $600 getting gaskets replaced (tailseal, diffseal, rocket cover, new dizzy gasket) and after i handed over the cash was told not to have long term plans as the engine was on its way out . So wondering if anyone on os has a spare 4g63 sohc carbie motor sitting around? Am contemplating going g63t out of an old starion and try running low boost for less then 20% power gain (as done in sr20de+t's in primeras) but that might be a bit more hassle, when they mechanics took off the sump they found leaves and crap in there, is smoking pretty badly and losing oil every 5days or so and is still leaking. Dont know wether to put more funds into current engine or source another one, or even getting a sohc efi out of a chariot or others. Also have been told diff head is rooted ( old owner doing too many skids). Any help would be o for oarsomes/fuel

  24. am after an lsd for the van, have spotted this one on trademe, just want opinions on it, is this the way to go? will it fit a 91 housing since it came out of the 95? Am also after a manual for a 91 l300 if anyone on here has one, only one on trademe which is an autofix one.
