Benno
I don't suppose you took a spare set of springs from that parts car? If so, what I would be doing is trimming them down with an angle grinder to get an idea of what ride height you want and see if there are any clearance issues. You can then see if the shocks are captive at that height and figure out what springs you want. Generally lows are 1.5" drop and super lows are 2" drop, depends on the manufacturer a bit. Retro
nah i didnt but i could, so how much drop do you think i need to get it like this?
hillman1
If that's on 13s I'd say that's a 3 to 4 inch drop if I get time ill measure my springs up which are just captive on standard shocks can't quite rember if they were lows or superlows

Retro
Should I do it properly by getting lowering blocks or turn the leaf springs over?
Toucan
You can get the leafs reset to a lower height then fine tune with blocks. Best way to go
Retro
Sweet, and if I lowered by 3inch at the back, would I need lows or superlows for front spring? And if it's lowered under 100mm, do I need a cert?
Toucan
Under 100 will need cert yep. There's no garrantee with aftermarket springs as to how much drop they'll give. One brand is likely to be different to the next. If you are after super slam like in the PIC you have shown you will likely need the lowest or even custom
bmxnz11
If your using 3inch blocks youl need to weld them to the diff housing or get a cert. 2inch is the biggest block you can use without a cert. Would look at reset leaf springs then blocks if you want a lot of drop
Brock-Lee
Unsure if it still applies bit you used to be able cert up to a 75mm block if you add tramp rods to the rear. Also pretty sure you can cert cutties but you may have to get the end of the spring reshaped to suit. Custom springs would likely be the best bet and aren't that expensive. Retro
I'm chucking the hubcaps on once I've lowered it mate. The acceleration pedal is extremely sticky
Beaver
Id disconnect it from the carb and see if it is just the cable or the actual throttle plate on the carb.
