AllTorque
They need different senders. Light is a on/off switch. Gauge is a variable sender. Someone smarter than might prove me wrong tho.
sheepers
I just ran aT off the pressure outlet on the block and put one sender unit in each end. I'm sure you can do it with one sender and heaps of Fucking around but why use a sledge hammer to crack a Walnut ay?

No you're pretty smart. Light is a switch and gauge is a variable sender. You could do some electronics that say when variable sender has a certain signal level fire up a warning light. Some flash gauges can do the warning stuff in the gauge I think. Brass tee piece, switch sender and gauge sender. Edit: Beaten!
Valiant
T joint or VDO (from memory) make a sender that has a resistor for a gauge and a switch in it.
