i am installing a willwood pulltype slave cylinder into my car. it recommends a 3/4 master cylinder and i already have a 5/8 master installed. this means i will be underpowering the slave cylinder. does anyone know what the affects of underpowering the slave will be, will the pedal be softer and will the piston get less stroke?

LOL - you sausage head Dave

What I mean is you will have identical pedal stroke as the pedal will go to the floor whether you have 5/8th or 1 1/16...

But yes I did mean less at the slave end - but that's made kinda obvious by the fact that the pedal stroke does not change so it must be the slave end.

But other Dave is right - the pedal will be harder.

the toyota  ones i've had done at autoclutch have had  "6mm release" written on them.   would likely be something similar

could put it in a press and try it. if its out of the car
