hey all, after help on this, i currently have a 4k in my garage that im planning to throw in my ke70 wagon, it has the following already done

  • bored/honed with what appears to be oversized flat top pistons
  • 3/4 race cam
  • 3k head
  • twin row timing chain

im wanting input as to what would be the best replacement single carb for what i have, and also what other things i can do to it to get a bit more out of it?

any suggestions as to who to build the manifold? im useless at that sorta thing, ive got a mate who will swap me my standard carb and my spare mild lumpy cam for his current twin carb set up? would twins work well in this setup? also anything else that could be done to anything to get a bit of extra go?

bike carbs are the go, at next to a guess, something from say a 650cc should work well and be pretty cheap.

when i eventually do my conversion, i just plan on cutting a spare intake manifold up, and running short hoses between the carbs and the inlets, seen it done like that with good results, might make a proper manifold at some point to.

How much money do you want to spend, we could provide you with lots of things that you could, should, or would do if you had buckets of cash.

So what you mean about the carb is that you want one that will give you the most performance out of the setup? eg bike carbs or twin 40s....
