shizzl Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 the alt in the cortina has been doing a nice light dance the last week or so.. at idle the light would come on untill you give it a decent rev.... then last night on the way from work the light started to flicker... still started sweet this morning.. this arvo the volt gauge was reading 11v but the light was out... got home and measured the voltage and yup,gauge was correct.. terminals are tight... cant take it apart untill the weekend, but any heads up as to the problem? cant tell if its a bosch or a lucas---lack of shed lighting,grrr...
