Steelies
no idea. jhowever, it was somewhat demoralizing wringing the shit out of my bike at dromageddon, and being casually chugged past by tenfiz on this mint pleasure cruiser! KIRK
alright i have a 8hp 298cc Honda G80 side valve on this thing, can any one with an educated guess tell me what the compression of this would likely be? google is proving useless or i fail at google. all i find is a sweet G80 motorbike haha. haha yeh matchless. i has one of those enines. i would guess 90psi. but iduno. if you want to test then turn engine reverse rotation. i think the valve lifty decomp thing doesnt work in reverse
mark105
ahh i meant compression ratio. from what i can tell from later engines it is probably around say 6-7:1. more or less just wondering how low they are for devising plans to go faster. KIRK
yeh i would also guess something around 6-7:1. You can delete the headgasket on flatheads if you lap the block and head and run special silicon

Seedy Al
I hate 4 strokes, But they do seem to prove there worth..... Still, already have an idea of replacing the 7hp motor in my peice. Will just depend on looking for what i need to find and money at the time Will keep motor as is for now till I'm parts ready. Slash will work my motor currently Mildly keen to go do a speed run on the flat tonight
