EFI_LC
Check for loose connections from the starter to the battery as well... did the leads from the battery come off? as this is a common cause as well if they are loose. If that fails try a screwdriver directly across the starter motor contacts so it bypasses the solonoid in case it has shit itself but my quick guess if the battery has charge is loose connection somewhere. repowered
he remembered he's an aa member.... called them and they found a faulty relay. i think they just bypassed it or something to get it going so all sorted, thanks
kyteler
They would have just jumpstarted it with a jump-pack, I imagine. That clicking from the solenoid was just an insufficient amount of voltage to fully engage and subsequently spint he starter motor. Faulty relay my ass. Get that stereo wiring sorted properly so it doesn't drain the battery.

kyteler
P.S. I worked for a place that was contracted to Roadside Assist for AA, STATE, etc, etc. I've heard my fair share of clicking flat battery calls. This sounds exactly as such and you even have a reason for it. Open and shut case.
RUNAMUCK
If you ever short the starter out with a screw driver to make it crank over ALWAYS make usre you aint in gear 1st. More than one person has been killed this way in days gone by.

repowered
na we were jumping it off my car an still would just click, turns out the AA guy told him to just disconect a wire near the battery (i think i went to that relay) and touch it on the battery to get it to crank. clevelandsteamer
yip wasnt a battery issue, have 2 disconenct a wire and start it that way while touching it on ther ed of the battery, i baught a new relay and pluged t in same places as it was, But that has not fixed the issue, in the daylight after work im gona double check the wires make sure they are all good (could be a fucked or loose one)
