HighLUX
The van developed a strong gas smell over the weekend so havnt been driving it, pulled the engine covers off tonight to check for fuel leaks and found that the fuel line was worn from rubbing on the cover so fixed that, should be better on gas now Nice long runners on the intake plenum, looks like a good piece of workmanship nice welds In other news, picked up f series diff from a masterace surf 4wd, should bolt straight in me hopes once I get a LSD is sorted for it, grabbed the swaybar aswell because it has a notch for the driveshaft so will slap that in and will fix the issue of the driveshaft hitting the sway bar
HighLUX
Whipped out the old swaybar this arvo and swapped it for the masterace item. Bolted straight in but had to change the links as the 4wd ones were longer. Driveshaft still hits the new swaybar but not as much as the old one, bushes are shagged so will replace them soon and hopefully that will fix it. 4WD swaybar vs 2WD swaybar(4wd is the top 1) Also scored a momo steering wheel and bosskit for $10, got the gearshifter boot redone and scored a fire extinguisher for free
HighLUX
Was driving home from tairua in the weekend and heard a pop, pulled over expecting to find a flat tyre but found this Bottom shock mount has cracked and broken off which sent the tein into the road bending it slightly(should straighten out) then into the rim taking out a nice chunk of it. So out came the rangimods to get home Still bowling round with it like this till I get the mount re welded tomorow
