OSM Garage
Thanks bro. Hopefully its my last try. (Wishful thinking) That lower bit scares me
lowlancer
I think diameter is okay, but the tyres are a little balloony and it needs to be a little lower. Could also do with being 14 x 9 really Stiil looks sweet.
bubblegoose
you should definitely not use those beauty rings, instead send them my way
OSM Garage
Could almost do 14x9. Maybe 13x9? They do look baloony. But there is no way ill get anything bigger than a 7" on the front.

Trigger
Yea, 7's on the front and 9"s easy on the back man (car height, tyres and offset, hardest part with Ex's) They are shit, cant get lower enough and cant take wide wheels (on the front) Mine is for sale... OSM Garage
As much as I would love to purchase your Lancer, I dont think i'd be able to afford it!!! What sort of price are you looking for?
Trigger
Yea havent really tried too hard yet... But I'm keen to sell it within the next few months, just wanta tidy up a few things and see if anyone keen, Not sure what its worth tho, what you reckon? OSM Garage
Not sure what its worth tho, what you reckon? Squillions! The hardest part will be trying to get the right buyer. Someone who appreciates the level of work carried out and will look after it. I cant price cars for shit. Every car I have sold I have dropped my pants when it comes to price. The way EX's are selling should be round $3k maybe? There are a few Turbo ones on there for $6k and $8k that have been on there for a LONG time. OSM Garage
Hey bro My EX is running an aftermarket ECU so wiring up would be different to using factory ECU I guess. I dont have a wiring loom for Evo 1-3. A search on the net might find one. Otherwise sign up to (if you havent already) http://www.mmc.org.nz/forum/ and someone on there might be able to help. rwdevo
Hey bro im doing the same conversion with a 7 bolt evo. ill start a project forum of my build when i get some time. i need some major help with the wiring? im also running an after market link computer. wea do i start and what do i need? i have the engine harness, i no which plug belongs each plug to on the motor. just dont understand how i do it. any help would be awesome. i have an evo flywheel on it but i have sigma ring gear on it so the starter is in original pos. one mistake i made was shaving the steps off the flywheel so i could use rwd sigma clutch and pp plate and i cannot find a clutch strong enough now. i didnt the the flywheel with the steps it had on it was going to fit but i see you have made it
OSM Garage
Hey mate To be honest I left the wiring up to my dad. He's my auto electrician. Not too familiar with Link ECU's. I have a microtech in my car. If the Link is anything like the Microtech, you wont need much from the factory harness (except the plugs of course) Injectors, Cam/Crank Angle Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor, Coilpacks (wasted spark), Ignition Module, Injector Resistor, Fuel Pump and vacuum line for map sensor is all ive used from the ECU. In regards to the gearbox/flywheel, as you saw (i think) my gbox has been hacked at to clear the steps of the flywheel. Not much needed to be hacked at for the bellhousing to clear.
