Truenotch
It was pretty average in the rain, but normally isn't too bad. I run less camber on the RF to make it brake better.

Truenotch
If anyone hears of a Celica GT4 rear diff for sale I'm interested. Apparently they're T series with 26.5mm axles as opposed to the 24mm ones I have at the moment. Prefer a plate type LSD but can also work with a locker, so open is fine. Spencer
But they are IRS? axles are stubs with CV's brother, how would you use them?
Spencer
ah ignore that your talking making some axles, most of them are torsen? so after market would have to be the go
Simon
Spence, we are missioning to hams this weekend, do you have that F series up there somewhere easy to grab so we can test fit? Could grab it off E or something as we pass. I still think it's a decent idea to do it properly the first time. While you upgrade axles the CWP is still the same size. And you have had issues there in the past. Will just mean you won't have to look at or touch it in the future when you're crankin' more power. Or something. Spencer
Yea you'll never break an F, Already had a Pm about grabbing a F if he's keen Didn't ken have a GT4 Lsd at some stage? same axle stubs as Facelift T series AE86 right? Your still going to break those eventually
Truenotch
My CWP is mint now that we're overfilling the oil. It's quiet at the oil stays clear, so no issues there. According to Mark/toycrazy the late model T series from GT4's are 26.5mm axles and F series is 28mm. It would be a lot easier and I don't think they'll be any weaker than F axles. I think I figured out how I'm killing the T axles too.

Truenotch
Changing down too hard while turning into dunlop & getting a sweet compression tweak on the way in... It puts a lot of strain on the LR wheel & axle. RH axle is also twisted but not sooo bad.
mikuni
What class are you running in at IRC? And when you say you might be doing the 23rd and 24th of April at Manfield, do you mean Taupo? Gutted about the bonnet by the way.
Truenotch
Was going to do 23/24 with SS2000 in taupo but have spent my time on Uni instead of getting the car ready. That can happen next year.
mikuni
You've probably seen this one already too, seeing you have a pitcrew design pic in the other thread. Great results too. I'm starting to get really fed up with not being able to get out on the track. Currently trying to figure out ways of getting out there sooner! haha
Snoozin
^ Hmm those pics are a bit safe for Brett! He normally shoots a lot slower shutter. Looks soooo slammed in that one though.
Truenotch
He has some lower shutter pics but generally mixes & matches. Looks slammed in this one eh? Lower s/speed
Snoozin
^ yeah that's more like it, win. Don't get into ones that look like the car's parked on track, probably why i get so many failures.
