CaMpylobacter
cool! cummins 6bt or something. millions of them around. small detroit 2stroke jap 6cyl turb from a mid sized truck millions of options. I can only see diesel as a potential fuel though. makes so much sense
danger
Ever thought of doing one project at a time? Cant say I've tried that approach.
insanebrain
love the cummins 6's - drove a few dodge pickups in the states with them and loved them. The last one had 450hp from factory and the 6 speed you get with them is great too
treggo
Don't dare chop the roof man. Keep it original body wise with slammage. What CaM said about a big ol diesel would be mean, But I imagine you guys will/will want to put some form of aussie v8 in it.
Guest vee_kay
that roof is way too high .. yeah deisel would be ideal power source if it was gonna be daily driven but i think its just gonna be a once in a while car from what hes said, he wants to put it in shows, v8 sounds about right lol. ill get him to talk to you about it at the drags tommorrow, he was talking about 22"foose wheels lol. dish as. CaMpylobacter
bro it's a british truck. it's meant to be about the commercial side.
kyteler
roffles that you ask for opinions/suggestions on something that you've pretty much sorted in your head anyway.
treggo
Jesus the more I think about it, the more i think that the most cool thing you could do with it is restore it to stock. I just cannot see one of those on "foose" 22s with a chop roof. It would just be wrong.
Snoozin
That's a sweet truck. I'd do it in a pseudo hotrod style, with a period commercial type colour scheme, with say, oldschool beer or wine barrels on the back.
mikuni
Sounds good aye. I myself can't see it with massive bling wheels either but I guess if you're going for a total retro-rod style overhawl then it could look the part. Do you have an actual picture of the one you are doing? Those origi ones look so banging. Would be so sweet to just convert it to an old as fuck looking transporter with a later model hyro deck on the back and transport vauxhall race cars to events Dreams are free. Flippy
oldschool beer or wine barrels on the back. With real beer inside? Portable sitll etc... haha

rxtoy
damn it, i've seen pictures of one of these being built up in Aussie on a ute chassis. just can't remember where. looked cool anyway, was probably an old hot rod mag. if i dig it out i'll post up some pics. looked cool anyway, i can't say i think big chrome wheels would be the go, i'm thinking truck size steelies with low profile tyres and redwalls although some torq thrust's or bonneville's or something like that would look pretty sweet too. cheers Matt
