Kit includes

2 x PBR twin piston front calipers

2 x UPC#040, 296mm x 28mm vented rotors

2 x UPC#1344, Police spec brake pads

2 x Custom made ADR 7/00 braided brake hoses

2 x Escort adaptor hubs made from K1045 billet steel complete with bearings, seals & studs

High tensile bolts are supplied to fit the kit

Kits from melbourne and bolts straight up. Will work out way cheaper and look better than going down the ap path with redrilledhubs etc. Just waiting to hear back bout the price for shipping. Not to worried though, i just want them

Hi, would be very very grateful if you could please tell me what company supplies these kits and what to ask for. Am I right in understanding these hub kits bolt up to the standard struts, racks and sway bar or do those need to be changed as well?

Also was wondering if you had to shorten the axles/diff housing at all from the hilux? I am looking at diff options and I have a set of arches to slap on mine. Kinda tossing up between the hilux or coon diff's, have also aquired a v4 capri diff already modified for the old mk1 but dont think it will stand up to the reverse to firsts I have planned.

Hi there, as long as you get the right model diff (rn10 - 25) it will bolt straight in. Theres a good post i put in the tech section about converting an escort to hilux setup. http://www.competitionengineering@optusnet.com.au This is the companys email who sells the brake setup, and it all bolts straight up, comes with everything you need. Not that cheap though, think it was bout $1500 all up. Just tell them what model esort/struts you have. They fucked the offset of my hubs up when they machined mine but are sending new ones so have apparently fixed this problem. Youll also need to run 15" mags minimum.

Interesting new pics.

Is your sump standard?

I moved my engine back alot as where it was sitting before meant I had no room for a fan behind the rad. You look to have alot of room. Almost as much as I have now that I have moved it back.

How have you mounted it? Straight of the original escort mounts and then onto the ca mounts or moved it forward or...???

Also the black with the orange looks mintastic!

Bolt on gaurds also great idea..

Small radiator also A great idea.. Looks small, honda small infact?

Yeah its a standard sump with standard engine mounts on a near standard escort xmember, just cut down the escort xmember posts so they were lower and welded new plates to them. Spot on with the radiator its a honda two core full alloy one, just gota mount an electric fan to it. Seen a '69 boss mustang racing at teretonga with the black on orange theme so pinched that idea from there.

Oh real. Wonder why mine is differant. Before I had the engine on a crossmember I brought. It had the mointing points moved forward from the escort pillar 3.5inch. He told me that was so if would fit in the standard engine bay. Ive now moved it back 4 inchs to above the original engine posts. My sump will noway fit tho, hits the steering rack big time.

Id be interested to see more, maybe pics and some measurements?

Maybe from the front of engine to the very front rad panel.

or

rear of engine to the front of that grill.

Chur.

I might get one of those same rads but the 3core version.

Cheers dan, the photos are probably a bit flattering  havent decided fully on wheels yet,but whatever they are theyll be deep dish.

Gaz, will have a look at some measurements next time im in the garage (if i remember), i did cut my g/box tunnel slightly and moved the original mounting point so the g/box fitted up there a bit better.

best i get it back on track then  engine will hopefully be back in timorrow, found it easier to wire with it out, and i thought the engine had seized but turned out it came with the wrong starter motor :x upon further analysis ive changed my mind again and the rims will have black centres. thinink 205/50 for tyres, maybe :D
