Ive got a Fiat Strada 130tc. 2lt twin cam, twin 40mm's, konis, 2.5 exhaust... May have seen it at nightspeed?? raced a couple of times. I think there were only 30 or 40 brought into the country by continetal cars. Ahh na wasnt driving throught Greylynn, my two of my mates have grey ones though! We plan to go strada crusing but at least one of our cars is off the road, haha usally broken. If it wasnt raining and it had the standard wheels it was most likely my mate ben. Its cool but strange that anybody that has a strada knows almost everyone else with a strada. Plus every Strada owner ive meet is pretty cool and is happy if you have a look round their cars. Abarth Posted March 26, 2007 Author Share Posted March 26, 2007 Yeah that sucks, I saw they turned it into a paddock. Down at meremere my first time was a slow 16.6 when I had problems with a leaking accelerator pump in my carbs causing it to stutter abit on takeoff. After that I fixed that problem and added a straight through exhaust which opened the engine up. I got 1000 more rpms at the top end. I ran a 16.1 Still slow but faster than before. Fast as Staceys? Im buildin up my spare engine right now, stripped down the block. Mal's getting all the bearings and rings etc.. Arriving this month hopefully. Should I use 45mm Delorttos rebuild $500 each or go the Quad throttle bodies from a Toyota Black top? The Efi would be a nice refinement but I might lose some character? Hmmmmmmmm........ FIAT Posted May 6, 2007 Share Posted May 6, 2007 45's are kinda "standard" for these really. EFI had a bit of wow factor even though it wont really give any more power.
