thminiman
right, didnt think id heard of a GZ If you do have parts for a GX71 man, let me know, PM etc. you know what sort parts are interchangeable with the other toyotas of that era? my mates planning on putting a 1ggte into his GX71, but the main problem is it currently has a foot operated park brake, so probably need a pedal box out of something else, and suss a handbrake out of something else, or woul 4 pedals fit? nobumps
Chur! yeah dish is sweet but they only 6inch ooohhhh yeah! haha so lacks the tough guy stance but you get that on a thin budget.
thegreatestben
For the valves rubbing on the calipers, surely you can get shorter ones? The GF's alloys have little stumpy metal ones, they have enkei printed on them. might save you the hassle of changing them over. I'm assuming you have flipped the centres? mikuni
^ Yeah that sounds like the plan. Can you see how much clearance you have to the caliper? Thats gay as though. Changing them round is abit of a fuck around. Looks so toit though. Needs to be lower in the front a little bit. Too much guard clearance me thinks. CaMpylobacter
jsut plug that shit with a machine screw and o rings hah.
Seedy Al
pretty much man, just buy some bolts that are just long enough, o ring in each side, seal up the holes good., then drill new holes for new valves. easy as. its just like putting a metal valve in there anyway, they just seal up with o-rings. nobumps
yeah they flipped. Ah thats a good idea but im running tubes and you cant get a shorter valve stem unfortunitly
nobumps
yes i know too high but the car is very close to the ground need to get exhaust tucked up a bit. any lower and it will be very difficult to drive. Mukuni you will know this when you put yours on haha
nobumps
Had a brain fade, im running tubes so o ring with bolt will be sweet pop a new hole good as gold, save the expense of getting tig weld plus time as my engineer would prob say yep sweet and two weeks lata itl be done. mikuni
Yeah, its gunna be a mish alright. I never thought I'd hear you say a car was too low. Or did you not say that? Ohwell, wheels and ground clearance are the least of my worries at the moment anyway.
