Its a small BMW only 1500kg 135i but need either 18s or 19s . A mate recons it will eat what ever Tyre I put on it . It hangs on ok but nothing where you would put all your faith in

Need some good tyres for the BMW but so many choices . It turned its Potenza in to a sticky mess on normal roads with a bit of healthy driving . I will look them up

so what brand tyres did you go with?

Nice hose clamps I have a load in my shed I used them and found that they didn't grip as well as I thought and changed back to the cheap ones . maybe keep an eye on them . Cant wait to see some paint on it

It all cost there is no cheap way to get more power . Just set a budget and stick to it

Read the build thread on my old sport I bought 7.5s off them but only 2 of . They work on the front with rolled guards but the rear is a big problem I was 2inch lowered on reset leafs and I stretched the inner guard as much as I could but they still rubbed with 185/60/13 rubber . I the end I took them back to change the boss suggested that I shorten my diff or buy a full set of brand new tyres 175/50/13 which is far to stretched on 7.5 I went on to tell him he was false advertising that they don't fit a MK2 escort he took them back and swapped me for 7 inch instead. only go 1.5 inch lowered if you want to drive your car hard . 185/60/13 on a 7 inch rim will give you another inch lower on top of the 1.5 but still leave a bit of room for movement in the springs to have some fun when you drive

don't lower the 7.5 rs wheels don't fit on the rear of a MK2 . But look good keen to watch and see you build thread . What are the plans

I just unbolted mine and dropped it down and drilled new holes . No one every asked and got Mesh covers for the trumpets from Burtons . Prob of no use to you though
